As a rebreather diver, I would be interested in seeing what a fire in a pure oxygen rebreather does. If possible get lungs from a slaughtered animal and attach them to the rebreather and pump them in and out a few times so the lungs are full of pure oxygen. Would a fire in the breathing loop actually burn the lungs?
It would be really really cool but i dont think dead animal parts are monetizable

I love how many experiments they do in videos like this. There's not just or two short experiments, there's plenty of experiments w/ different situations, scales, materials, setups, etc.

I once nearly burned down my house with butane: i had a bunch of liquid butane put it on a table and my 3iq self wondered "what if I'd heat the cold liquid butane" so I took a lighter and you are smart, you each TKOR, you know where this was going

Ngl, I love all of the crafting/builds they do for their experiments/videos sometimes. I kinda wish they would show the builds for those in the videos too - even in a timelapse- bcos it's interesting (especially for anyone who might wanna learn how to do it), and I feel like they'd make it entertaining to watch.

Daaaaaaaaaam! I'm a welder and have used liquid oxygen under pressure with acetylene in a cutting torch at this one place. It cuts very well pretty quick and the dropping liquid steel from the cuts formed a white hot pool underneath.
try to repeat some of the Mythbusters’ experiments if possible, seeing some of their oldest experiments in hd would be amazing :D

I fought wildland fires in Oregon for seven years and this was wild. The mention of asking Nate if he was going to stand on the roof of the little house during the explosion had me thinking, I'd have been willing to walk through the fire, after the explosion, in a fire suit.
The engineering and creativity in these videos is always so interesting tbh and make the videos so much better.
With the longer, higher production, more detailed videos I think the King himself would be proud of you.
Imagine an entire rocket stage witch has millions of gallons of liquid oxygen in it spilling (Check the SpaceX AMOS-6 mission for an example)

It would be cool to see how much a stack or ream of paper doused in liquid oxygen and ignited would survive. I'm thinking about how I've heard of safes that incinerate it's contents if it's safeguards are triggered being expanded to a file room with sprinklers. Your "distributing device" gave me the idea but a lot of the charcoal survived so I wounder how well paper would fare.

A company that I worked for used liquid oxygen and natural gas for cutting torch to cut up rail cars for scrap. A worker cleaned the gauges, then reconnect. Had a oil film on gloves, so when turned on, the liquid oxygen exploded. So, always keep oil away

So with fuses, I've heard that putting them in something like a cardboard tube will make them burn faster. This makes me wonder if a strip of carpet soaked in liquid oxygen in a pipe would have a similar effect. I imagine a steady stream at the entrance while the carpet is pulled through the pipe would evenly distribute it, but that would require some testing of course.

I think the charcoal didnt work as well was because its was all spread out and only a bit was in the grill. Id love to see the same amount of charcoal all in a large tub so that both the charcoal and oxygen are contained together

About the sparks. I think it usually works because there is some mixture of fuel and oxygen on the air. If you pour liquid oxygen, even if you had some vapor pressure from the fuel, it would be low since it really cold. The only vapor you have there is oxygen, but the fuel vapor is missing, so no fire.

There’s a reason liquid oxygen is literally rocket fuel (technically it’s the oxidiser because no air in space)
oxygen is oxygen
but some oxidizers like chlorine make oxygen when burnt
