A Tesla is a really cool car. It has some unique features and to some is considered the car of the future. But there's one thing it's definitely missing- the ability to glow in the dark. So today we're laying down some plastic and getting out the Plasti Dip to make a Tesla that can glow in the dark! In this video we're going to test out a few different glow powders and UV lights to see which one will give us the strongest glow. We're also going to paint an entire wall with glow in the dark paint and build a UV Glow Charging station we can drive through. Then finally, we'll take it out to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how it all looks!

I was actually a bit disappointed, because I was hoping for an electroluminescent paintjob instead of a photoluminescent one.
If you'd painted on a conductive base coat, a layer of dielectric, a layer of electroluminescent phosphor, a layer of transparent conductor, and a protective clearcoat, made sure each layer is even and has no gaps, and then hooked up your whole paintjob to alternating current, it'd glow without needing UV.
It's also the exact sort of expensive and ridiculous but actually-available-on-the-market thing that would perfectly match a Tesla.
Ur so ungrateful, they started to wake up and do bigger and better things than microwaving and melting stuff with a cleaner

This was amazing experience guys. Throughly enjoy the new content, but also enjoyed the old, been a long time subscriber.
So, this one had a lot of production power behind it and it was pretty awesome. However, it's been a while since TKOR showed us something cool we could build ourselves after actually figuring out how to do it the right way before shooting. That's some of the old TKOR stuff I'd like to see again. Just my thoughts.

How do you test if it's "viable" without testing how long it lasts? If you have to do it every 15 minutes then it's not really viable, is it?
Why not stick led lights on the outside of car instead, if being seen at more at night is the motive
Who else really really wants TKOR to do experiments with fire and flour, flour explosions, air-borne flour, how combustible flour is, flour smoke bombs that can go up in flames etc like the liquid oxygen video?
There's also a paint out there that glows when an electrical current is applied to it... LumiLor, no UV needed, if you wanted something more permanent.
Yeah, electroluminescence; it's actually a bit more complicated than that. Lumilor is actually four layers of paint: a conductive base coat, a dielectric, an electroluminescent phosphor, and a clear conductive topcoat. What this does is turn the painted surface into a capacitor, and then the electroluminescent phosphor sucks energy from the capacitor and turns it to light when you feed in alternating current
