Ta. im connecting through from SYD to JFK so very helpful as i usually connect via LAX and its been hard to figure out if i need to pick up my bags and re check in etc for the second flight
WOW! I was at this airport the very next day Feb 2 (Groundhogs Day) on a connecting flight. From Tampa to Dallas/Fort Worth to Las Vegas. LOL It's a nice airport.
I will be traveling alone in december from miami to mcallen.... the connecting flight is in dallas... im scared... so i dont have to worry about the checked bags ? When I land in mcallen the bags will be there right ?
Correct! Let the agent (in Miami during bag checking in) know that you would claim your checked in bag at the final destination (usually you don’t need to ask, they do it by default).
Just booked a flight originating from YYZ flying AA and connecting to DFW then onwards to HND flying JAL with 1 hr and 10 minutes. Do I need to re-check my bags when I get to DFW or do I just go straight to my assigned Terminal and Gate?
My parents are flying from Seattle to Dallas on Alaska (bought separately due to American Airlines change) and then to Morelia Mexico on American Airlines. Do they have to pick up bags and recheck them/go through security? Thank you!
If it is booked on a seperate reservation yes, but if it's all booked on one reservation since Alaska is in the OneWorld Allience with American Airlines now, then you shouldn't need to. At check it ask them to see if its going all the way (just check the baggage tag to see if it says DFW and MLM) . On the return you will need to pick them up and recheck them since its an international flight. I know this because I've done it before and DFW is my home airport and I'm there quite a bit.
Thank you for your video! Im actually very worried abt our trip this May. We only have 45 minutes connection time from dfw then narita. You think we can make it?
Hi! Im going to Frankfurt in September, I have a 55 minutes layover, do you think I can make it? Im going from HOU to DWF to FRA, and im worried is not going to be enough time
No worry sir you will have enough time. Using app to get the boarding gate no or any last moment delay or change is certainly a good idea. Instead of trying to find the boarding gate at the airport, please research it in advance while at home or in the plane. All the best!
Hi! My boyfriend and I are going to Vegas in December and our layover is 46 minutes! Will we make it? We are going from RIC to DFW to LAS. Will we have enough time?
I am canadian citizen and i am transiting through dallas aiport, my final destination is nepal.Do i need to go through immigration and security check for layover
Dude, can you help me? I'm going to travel next year (February) from Costa Rica to Las Vegas. It is my first time connecting flight in USA. The connection is 1:30 hrs. (Dallas to Las Vegas). Is there any chance to get the another airplane? What about the immigration process?. Thanks for you information.
So you flight is basically San Jose-Dallas-Las Vegas with 1 hr and 30 minutes stopover at Dallas Airport, right? Trying to get into another flight earlier will only make you tired for doing everything faster to catch the next plane. Dallas airport is one of the largest airports in US and in my opinion 1:30 hrs time is perfect enough to change the plane smoothly without rushing yourself. By the time you would arrive at the gate for Vegas, you will see the boarding either started or about to start (considering you are moving to another terminal)! Immigration process is not needed if you are in transit in the same airport. So your only immigration process will take place at the Vegas airport. Hope this helps. Good luck with your flight.
WOW the train makes it so easy to get to your exact gate. Thankful for this. I have a 50 minute layover in Dallas from Tampa to Amarillo next week

No you don’t! But just to make sure ask the attendant where to pick up the bag while checking in! Good luck!
@@theairportguy5457 thankyou so much for all your assistance. cant wait to check out this cool airport in person :)

You go straight to boarding gate at DFW. In any case, please ask if the baggage’s checked in YYZ will be on belt at Haneda.
