If you want to be closer to God you have to live by his word. Steps to take are read Holy scripture, prayer, and live according to his will. The world has many temptations. You have to reject them and choose Christ way. The world is in great darkness right now and man does not know right from wrong. Pray for discernment. Stay away from things that offend God, which causes separation from him. Sin separates us from God, which causes despondency. God Bless you. Keep your eyes on Him.
we all fall short of the glory but he died for our sin just repent and turn from your darkness and dance in his light we all sin daily whether its on purpose are not ,knowing or unknowing but he forgives us walk in his will and his purpose for your life and you will be filled with his presence daily. its says in his word seek ye first his kingdom and all his righteousness and everything else will be added unto you,nothing can separate us from him ...amen,but if your truely saved then its pretty hard to remain in sin without the holy sprit convicting us,just dust yourself off get back up and keep fighting the good fight...

They are a good role model, but, I agree with Larry, you should be confident in God. I am a worship leader too and I understand your point, it is good to see young people serving God with that love, but you need to know that God is the only one that will give you confidence.
Thinking of all those who do not know Jesus this week as we begin the 40 Days, all of those who, like my youngest sibling having so many abortions, a life of alcoholism, serving Satan daily, living a life of lies, and damage, we always pray that they will find the Lord as this song clearly reflects. You can get through it. God wouldn't allow something in your life you couldn't handle. Bring your problems to God. 1st Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." Don't forget Jesus has your back always. Even when we don't have his. God's faithfulness never fails and remember this life is temporary and this isn't our home. Our home is with our Father in his kingdom. God loves you and will never let go of you or any of us. :)

Father please keep my brothers and sisters serving our country and country men in offices on highway patrol as the roads are slippery. Keep my friends in Christ heading out for their duties in ambulance,fire, hospitals,schools, ministries, and churches as I lift them to you Father in Heaven this early November we are already expecting heavy ice patches and black ice and falls, car accidents, and road casualties are expected but not if we have your help. I am excited to leave this burden with you for my province of Ontario and for Canada. On your loving shoulders dear Lord Jesus I leave my fears, my cares, and my concerns of the day. Thank you for the insight to ask moms and dads and caregivers to put mouth guards in their cars or back packs and if need be helmets as they drive in addition to buckling up, it is a big help in safety and prevents injuries from slip and falls or collisions. I had such a long night and day of being me, it is time now to let you be you God. Father, thanks again for the Holy Ghost. Please help me find the finances to build a ramp so I can come in and out of my house, to level my floors and widen doors, and place hand rails indoors where needed. I am actually the least of anyone to be asking this, so long after my injuries and surgeries but well, it is my physio and occupational therapists decision. I get this done or I must move out of my home. Your a great listener dear God. Say hi to my husband and brothers, sons and daughters, sisters, and friends in Christ from me if you have the time Jesus. I sure would like to keep in touch. I just need their mailing address. Lost my address book in my house fire I think but I also lost my cookie jar too and a woman's devotional Bible. My sons family sent me that cookie jar. So as a closing desire, thank you I was not in the house that night dear God. Please help everyone to check the smoke detectors in the houses, schools, work places, and church.
