I got to speak to Taya on Video call while in a psychiatric facility after attempting suicide. She sang for me and then prayed. I had shaved all my hair off and completely lost it. God really spoke to me in that time. When I had been stripped bare, it was then I realised God was the only one who knew what was happening. Another in the fire, standing next to me. I met some amazing people in there, people who lived with a lot of unimaginable pain and still found hope in the small things. Remember to love each other no matter the circumstances. Find hope and joy in the small things.
Bree, I just want to tell you how much I love you and how much Jesus loves you. You matter so much to all of us. When we all get to Heaven the overwhelming emotion we will all feel is God's love for us and all the love of the angels, Saints and souls in Heaven for us. Love never fails and Love conquers all. I remember being 17 years old or so when Oceans first came out. I was raised in a Christian family, and my mother is one of the most loving and passionate believers I know, but I still was so lost. I was caught up in my own world of sin and rebellion. And one day I heard Oceans on the radio in the car with my family on the way to church. Everyone else in the car fell in love with the song, but I turned up the music I was listening to through my headphones so I couldn’t hear it. This would happen every time the song came on in the car. I found myself going out of my way to avoid hearing it, and I wasn’t even sure why. What I didn’t realize at the time was that something about the song convicted me. I felt Jesus’ presence whenever it came on. So I avoided it to ultimately avoid Him. But eventually one day, while I was in my room alone, I decided to look up the song myself and listen. I listened to it over and over again. Something shifted in me that night. There were some chains broken and walls of rebellion and brokenness torn down. I always remember that moment as a time in my life when I recognized the true beauty in Jesus’ sacrifice for us, therefore the beauty in our sacrifice to Him. To lay down everything to follow Him sounds like the scariest thing in the world to someone who doesn’t understand that whatever you’re giving up is no match for whatever God has in store when you say yes to Him. All that to say, that was about 8 years ago, and my life is forever changed because of Jesus’ love and pursuing of my heart. If you’re struggling to recognize who you are right now, just remember WHOSE you are, and that you are seen and you are loved ❤️

Revisiting this 3 years later. 3 years ago I watched this stream live, alone, grieving by myself during the pandemic the loss of my marriage. My wife had had filed for divorced, moved in with her affair partner, and I deeply understood what being in the fire really meant. 3 years later, the Lord has truly walked me through the fire, and it turns out, I was never actually alone. Thank you Taya for ministering to me in the most painful time of my life. This video 3 years later still blesses me.

Amen Brooke! No pain is ever wasted in God’s Kingdom!! For one thing we sure KNOW what we have been saved from & for!! I was molested as a 12 year old by a stranger in the library. Thank God He helped me scream so it didn’t go further! Even though it happened & it was horrible, God was with me right in that moment!! And with me through everything that others would say “ how can you handle that & still Praise Jesus?? It’s all because I have a true relationship with Jesus, I feel His presence & glory around me as I go through the next thing & He blesses me!! My testimony is that I started watching Hillsong videos because I saw how beautiful Taya is but when I started listening to her I grew deeper to God. So I guess people have different stories God reaches them👍
Stumbled upon this when I was feeling really down for not passing an exam I prayed really hard for. I believe it was God speaking through Taya when she said, "That even if He doesn't do the things we thought we need Him to do, we'd still Trust Him". Thank you for the reminder, God. Help us to place our complete trust in you. May our desires be aligned with yours. May we find peace in the fact that our future is completely secure in you. In the darkest time in my life I stumbled across oceans I started listening thinking it was just a different version of amazing grace , boy that day I was for ever changed . The fire I saw in her for God really gave me hope and opened my eyes as I was at the and of my rope with everything and God himself hand picked that moment for an amazing triumph in my life . You are the real Deal and I Pray that hundreds of millions of people here in America and around the world will get to watch and listen to you. Michigan...oceans...So will I On my trip to Israel 2 years ago it was during Feast of Tabernacles. On our way to getting on the boats to the Sea of Galilee there was a big sukkah set up with a man & woman in it. They were rushing us on the boats but this couple were playing “So will I”. I HAD to stop & go over there. They greeted me in the oriental way...hugs & kiss cheeks, then cranked up the music& we were singing. Then the leader of the tour Scott Volk came in the tent up to me “Are you gonna stay here & worship or miss the boat?” With consternation I left the tent to join the others on the boat. They sent me on my way with apples & honey & pomegranate seeds. Of course it was not a disappointment on the boats. Worshipping there with Paul Wilbur and his violinist. Sobbed hardest I’ve cried for 30 years. I thank you Taya for sharing your music and God given talents. These songs go around the world and reach our Fathers throne in heaven too

I’m a recovering drug addict clean and Sober for 2 years now! It’s a difficult process EVERYDAY but one thing I say is that whenever I feel down or have bad memories I always seem to find a therapist in Taya Smith. Her singing ALWAYS TAKES ME ON A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY and I just forget about all the Wordly things and focus on the Lord. I was about to read the Bible today but I can't feel God's presence and I decided to play worship songs to set the mood and also to feel His presence .. and then God make me see this and it really helps me to gain my heart for Him and I also found His presence ... Everyone if ever you are losing the fire in your heart or you lost your worth or having a tough day or trials in your life.. You should try to close your eyes ,pray to God as if He was standing in front of you and tell Him everything you want to tell Him ... Pray as if it is your last day .. pray as if you don't have another day .. so that you will feel your whole heart praising Him ♥️

When I teach on prayer, I realize how inadequate I am to even teach on it, as I still have so far to go. I realize how dependent I will ALWAYS be on Jesus and it brings me back to it is not about me, it is all about Jesus. I love Lord Jesus. He is my saviour. When I was 7, my family and I went on a vacation and I didn't know the swimming pool is deep, then I jumped into the swimming pool. When I realised the water is deep, I was struggling and in fear. Then God came. A stranger was sent by God and saved me. He carried me up the pool. I thanked the man for saving me. My parents were taking photos there and did not notice that I was in trouble. I am grateful that God turned me into such a lovely person. Jesus Christ, we love you because you first loved us! I got to speak to Taya on Video call while in a psychiatric facility after attempting suicide. She sang for me and then prayed. I had shaved all my hair off and completely lost it. God really spoke to me in that time. When I had been stripped bare, it was then I realised God was the only one who knew what was happening. Another in the fire, standing next to me. I met some amazing people in there, people who lived with a lot of unimaginable pain and still found hope in the small things. Remember to love each other no matter the circumstances. Find hope and joy in the small things.

I remember being 17 years old or so when Oceans first came out. I was raised in a Christian family, and my mother is one of the most loving and passionate believers I know, but I still was so lost. I was caught up in my own world of sin and rebellion. And one day I heard Oceans on the radio in the car with my family on the way to church. Everyone else in the car fell in love with the song, but I turned up the music I was listening to through my headphones so I couldn’t hear it. This would happen every time the song came on in the car. I found myself going out of my way to avoid hearing it, and I wasn’t even sure why. What I didn’t realize at the time was that something about the song convicted me. I felt Jesus’ presence whenever it came on. So I avoided it to ultimately avoid Him. But eventually one day, while I was in my room alone, I decided to look up the song myself and listen. I listened to it over and over again. Something shifted in me that night. There were some chains broken and walls of rebellion and brokenness torn down. I always remember that moment as a time in my life when I recognized the true beauty in Jesus’ sacrifice for us, therefore the beauty in our sacrifice to Him. To lay down everything to follow Him sounds like the scariest thing in the world to someone who doesn’t understand that whatever you’re giving up is no match for whatever God has in store when you say yes to Him.
All that to say, that was about 8 years ago, and my life is forever changed because of Jesus’ love and pursuing of my heart.
If you’re struggling to recognize who you are right now, just remember WHOSE you are, and that you are seen and you are loved ❤️

Revisiting this 3 years later. 3 years ago I watched this stream live, alone, grieving by myself during the pandemic the loss of my marriage. My wife had had filed for divorced, moved in with her affair partner, and I deeply understood what being in the fire really meant. 3 years later, the Lord has truly walked me through the fire, and it turns out, I was never actually alone. Thank you Taya for ministering to me in the most painful time of my life. This video 3 years later still blesses me.

My testimony is that I started watching Hillsong videos because I saw how beautiful Taya is but when I started listening to her I grew deeper to God. So I guess people have different stories God reaches them👍
Stumbled upon this when I was feeling really down for not passing an exam I prayed really hard for. I believe it was God speaking through Taya when she said, "That even if He doesn't do the things we thought we need Him to do, we'd still Trust Him".

In the darkest time in my life I stumbled across oceans I started listening thinking it was just a different version of amazing grace , boy that day I was for ever changed . The fire I saw in her for God really gave me hope and opened my eyes as I was at the and of my rope with everything and God himself hand picked that moment for an amazing triumph in my life . You are the real Deal and I Pray that hundreds of millions of people here in America and around the world will get to watch and listen to you. Michigan...oceans...So will I On my trip to Israel 2 years ago it was during Feast of Tabernacles. On our way to getting on the boats to the Sea of Galilee there was a big sukkah set up with a man & woman in it. They were rushing us on the boats but this couple were playing “So will I”. I HAD to stop & go over there. They greeted me in the oriental way...hugs & kiss cheeks, then cranked up the music& we were singing. Then the leader of the tour Scott Volk came in the tent up to me “Are you gonna stay here & worship or miss the boat?” With consternation I left the tent to join the others on the boat. They sent me on my way with apples & honey & pomegranate seeds. Of course it was not a disappointment on the boats. Worshipping there with Paul Wilbur and his violinist. Sobbed hardest I’ve cried for 30 years. I thank you Taya for sharing your music and God given talents. These songs go around the world and reach our Fathers throne in heaven too

You should try to close your eyes ,pray to God as if He was standing in front of you and tell Him everything you want to tell Him ... Pray as if it is your last day .. pray as if you don't have another day .. so that you will feel your whole heart praising Him ♥️

I love Lord Jesus. He is my saviour. When I was 7, my family and I went on a vacation and I didn't know the swimming pool is deep, then I jumped into the swimming pool. When I realised the water is deep, I was struggling and in fear. Then God came. A stranger was sent by God and saved me. He carried me up the pool. I thanked the man for saving me. My parents were taking photos there and did not notice that I was in trouble. I am grateful that God turned me into such a lovely person. Jesus Christ, we love you because you first loved us!
