Marty im praying that you'll come back to your faith, that you'll remember that first encounter, that love that this world can never replicate. I understand you have so many questions and contradictions about God, but at the end of the day God is infinite and our ability to comprehend him is like trying to understand the ocean when we are only a droplet of water. Marty God is waiting with a loving embrace and always has been.
The process that Marty is going through is so human and understandable at the same time, God will undoubtedly bring it back.
it's not coming back to faith. He never was a true Christian according to what he says about christianity and how he understands it. He needs to truly repent and trust in Jesus.

currently i am in a low point in my life and i cannot find peace. i haven't heard this song in forever, and today this popped up in my recommended feed. i am crying my heart out right now because this song feels like a hug that i very badly needed

I think Marty is one of the best composers, vocalist and worship leader Hillsong has. During the late 90's and early 2000's, Marty Sampson, Reuben Morgan and Joel Houston wrote the best and most beautiful songs that propelled Hillsong to the mainstream.
Most of their songs are still sang today, from Everyday, My Best friend, God is great, Now that you're near, Most high, To the ends of the earth, More than life, One Way, Salvation is Here, From the inside out, The Stand, Mighty to Save, The Time has come to Aftermath and Take Heart. Their songs will stay for generations to come. Such an awesome representation of God's power working on their lives...

When i was listening to this songs my spirit awaken bcoz im in a situations that i dont want to live bcoz of so much pain. (Im a cancer patient) im not afraid to die bcoz i believed Jesus will not leave me nor forsake me. And one thing I only need is Jesus and nothing else.

No matter how far you stray, God's grace and love runs deeper. How vast the ocean of his forgiveness? Even though we may stray from God, He is still near to us and waiting for us to return to our first LOVE- Jesus. He is ready to forgive us and accept us, just like the Father did with the prodigal son.
