  • From tranquil countryside to urban excitement, Spirit of Alberta captures the diversity and natural beauty of this vast, extraordinary land. Spending a summer on the roads of Alberta, KSPS Public Television photographed its splendor from the Waterton Lakes National Park to the Peace-Athabasca Delta and beyond.
    Produced in 1999.

I’m from Edmonton and have travelled to so many of these places here in Alberta. We’re so lucky with the diversity we have. It’s amazing! 🥰

I was also thinking it must be 1999, as at the start of the Calgary segment you can see the second Bankers Hall Tower West under construction. It was completed in 2000. Tower East was completed in 1989.

How does this have almost no views or comments? You guys must be doing
something wrong on the TH-cam end of things lol. You need to add some
hashtags and keywords or something because it's an awesome video! It's cool from a historic point of view even now that its 20 years old. The province was still riding high on oil.

I can tell this is 1999, as at the start of the Calgary segment you can see the second Bankers Hall Tower West 3/4 of the way under construction. It was completed in 2000. Tower East was completed in 1989.
