As a retired hospice nurse I want to tell you that you are being one of the best caregivers I have ever seen. Ivory is lucky to have you. Blessings to you and your children and wishing Ivory a peaceful transition and loving homecoming.

One of my ex-girlfriends is a hospice nurse. She is wonderfully kind and caring. Everyone I met in her organization were very nice, too. Very noble work.
I am also a retired hospice worker and I think the hardest part is how the decline in ability to do menial things like going to the bathroom & washing yourself affects the patient.
It's heartbreaking.

My mother never smoked a day in her life and got lung cancer, and my father, who was a doctor, did not smoke or drink and had pancreatic cancer. I guess sometimes there really aren't any reasons or explanations for why some people get this terrible illness. My heart goes out to you all.
My Dr told me over and over that everyone is born with the cancer enzymes. They either activate or don't
stress or being around toxic ppl, also lonliness ❤

Dearest Ivory, you are my hero! I'm 79 and just beginning my trip down this path. I wish I could trade places with you. I have had a long life and would change places with her so that your family could have many more years with you. I'm grateful that you have been so brave in sharing your journey with the world for those of us who are looking for direction with this illness. Ivory you have given me more knowledge than I could have ever gotten from doctors for which I'm forever grateful. My heart and arms are reaching out to you and pray that God and his angels will be there to lovingly deliver you to your very earned peaceful home in heaven. I have no doubt that you will have the ability to wrap your arms around your family and they will truly feel your protection and love throughout their lives. @@nsmile796 after her diagnosis, she only lasted 8 months. She had symptoms 1 year prior but her dr didn’t think any of it, only continued to Rx her pain killers until those pain killers no longer helped her with the pain. Went in to ER and that’s when we found out. The cancer was eating her muscle/fats on one of her legs and yet no one noticed til it was too late. Took her in to ER for the pain she’s been having on her leg and found out the primary was in her lungs

My heart goes out to Ivory, her family and friends. Cancer is an insidious condition, even though the medical profession has made huge leaps and bounds, but sometimes things just go wrong. I've been terminal for 6 years with Pulmonary Fibrosis, no cure and no treatment. Ivory will have her loved ones around her and hopefully her transition will be peaceful. ❤❤

So glad you have a hospice facility for Ivory. My mother went to a hospice place in the US for the last 10 days of her life and because of the excellent care she got we, her family, did not have to worry about her meds, bathing, etc. It was a blessing.

Finding your newest video, Tom, just moments ago, I just wanted to break down and cry, to suffer as you and all your loved ones are certainly doing, but I see the stoicism and determination to carry out Ivory’s wishes as you speak to all of us about her, so that we might know the important things. If only I could be there, I would try to be strong for you, the sweet children, and Ivory! I would try to help every way possible, if only!! If all of us who are in your virtual realm could join hands together with you in Ivory’s room beginning at her bedside, just think how many concentric circles we would be, fanning out and around her room, each holding a candle and softly singing a prayer of faith, love, and gratitude 🙏🏻 , angels all among us to provide care and comfort. I see Ivory’s room glowing, our tears held in our hearts for Ivory’s sake. Can Ivory feel such love, are you Tom and your children feeling it as well? You are never alone💕. Hospice will provide her physical care and absence of pain, so your road is a little less daunting. So grateful for that! What a difficult decision regarding where to be for Hospice and I am so glad that you, Tom, and Ivory made it together, another testament of your strength and love for one another. God is everywhere and always with you. In each and every thing that comes to pass, He promises that all will be made new, in His time. Peace to you and your loved ones and especially to Ivory! 🙏🏻🥰
Thank you for Ivory's update. You remind me of my husband I'm battling cancer. I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago on my Birthday at the height of the pandemic. I feel worse for my husband and children than myself cancer changes our lives. I pray for Ivory that she passes away peacefully and is comforted by yours and your children's love.

One thing I might add is that I think you should let her know it is ok to pass on.. It is a strange phenom that people can hang on for a long time out of some sort of guilt about passing.. My daughter is a hospice nurse and it is amazing how much it can help a person to know it is just "Ok" it is a tough situation... Godspeed...

I'm sorry to you and your family for going through this difficult time. I hope we see her again and thank you for answering a lot of questions I had myself about Ivory. I hope she's not in too much pain.
I'm very saddened by the last update. I really wish God would grant her the wish to continue living so that she may raise her babies and watch them grow. Unfortunately for us, our life has already been mapped out and whatever God wants for us, so be it. We're all going to pass on, it's just a matter of time and how. Meanwhile..we are here and we must move on with or without our loved ones. If we keep God in our hearts, God will walk with us daily..we mustn't blame God for our end life situation, but thank him for the life we've had so far. None of us know what's on the other side unless you've been there, but from what I've read, most of their experiences have been positive. I believe in my heart , that Ivory is going to a beautifully wonderful place, to a home that many of us hoped we'd go to. She has such a beautiful soul and she exudes nothing but love for her family, youtube friends and Hospice personnel God Bless You sweetheart Ivory..Take God's hand and let him lead you fear nothing, and go with love and eternal peace. I know we will all be with you soon, and we will know you, love you, and share heaven together. You'll never be alone, Ivory our dear sister.❤😢
I am new here. I saw the first video of the one posted 2 weeks ago. My first thought was how beautiful your family is. My second was how strong you both are. Wow, i could only hope that my family would be as gracious, loving, and wonderful as your family is at the end of my life. Your family is truly blessed to have each other. I pray your wife goes peacefully, and your children never ever ever forget the good times, and how much I know she loved them.
It is very hard for the care giver in Palliative care. You are loving her into the next life.
My 35 year old brother, never smoked had short battle with Colon cancer asked me to stay with him at home until he passed. We too had amazing talks. We were thankful to have Dr & Nurse provide home visits & phone calls. Our experience without internet in 1994 made it hard to connect easily with resources.
Prior to diagnosis he had gone to Dr and was told it was a flu & go home and rest. A week later not getting better and swelling stomach went back to Dr. Was given Ultasound and was ordered emergency surgery but tumour had spread to Liver. No treatments and managed his pain. Within 8 weeks he passed.
I’m glad we could have end of life where he was comfortable
I went through this with my Mother! It’s hard seeing them deteriorate! Prayers for her and the family!🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

Our daughters bone cancer started out as severe back pain. She fought against the cancer for a year and a half before she passed away in our living room on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 9:15 PM. She wanted to be at home and we wanted her at home, so our living room became her bedroom because during her last week she could not walk. She was 23

Shaman Oaks channel has a great playlist of near death experiences for anyone coping with death. You connect to the space they've been in while reliving that experience... its given me so much peace and trust in the process and where we're going. I remember a couple stories where they had family and were reassured that "they're going to be OK". I have family I don't want to leave but I'm awfully sick and it's helped me cope with that. Everything is going to be OK. We are just here to learn and we go home ❤
