  • Chinese snack/pastry/dish. In Guangdong and Hong Kong, egg roll usually refers to biscuit roll. Koi Kei Bakery I’ve tried phoenix egg rolls before and I always buy the one stuffed with shredded pork (pork floss) and wrapped with seaweed. I like the contrast of sweet and salty plus the texture of the pork jerky. It's sort of like cotton candy-if cotton candy were made of dry, fluffy, finely shredded pork seasoned with soy sauce and sugar and looked like scraggly clumps of dryer lint. The ingredients include eggs, flour and sugar.
