    Serious gains from back to back testing from peak #'s and thru the power curve . But dyno numbers are just that , real gains are on the time clocks 👌 . Look forward to seeing the gains !

    My 2019 zx10r has both carbon Smith velocity stacks and the Moore mafia flash. You can really feel the bikes transformation as you climb the power band. I highly recommend them both! Thanks Chris 😊

    cris you need one of them auto adjust chain idler on that lomg arm bike the chain gets hella loose on bottom when doing a pull

      This video was a lot of work, just to test and prove a product works. I could have easily just over layed it with a old run with stock velocity stacks, but that doesn't PROVE anything to the general public!!!!

    I always say,the dual stack things work!Like the bigger throttle body things..You can play with lower stack,to size it to the rpm limit,and with upper to the mid power(length,width,stack lip,etc.)The dyno dont lie,the "cheapest" ~10whp :)
    For the best result,you must remove the airbox,and make one diy use all space you can under gas tank.Bigger size throttle body,which must sit inside the new airbox,dual stacks,cams.Easy 30-40whp,if done right!

    Chris, awhile back I read some articles about intake port dimpling. From what the engine builder said that dimpling doesn't change the CFM on the head or anything. But it helps with fuel atomization n that's what has the effect on the small horsepower gains

      Actually there is in fact fuel above the stacks as the secondary Injectors sit in the top of the air box directly above them

      Archie Dentone there is simply no need to mention a turbo in this video whatsoever as this motorcycle doesn't have a turbo on it. This particular bike is not the same bike as the one you are referring to in that video. That bike is of course turbocharged and everyone who knows anything about motorcycle drag racing knows that and that it is the quickest and fastest no wheelie bar motorcycle in the world. World records aren't dependant upon sanctioning bodies to exist. For the record that same bike is the 2nd fastest prostreet bike in the world under sanctioned rules.

      @@archiedentone5950 yes this bike was and will be again soon the fastest stock motor 1000cc motorcycle in the world. This bike has been 8.07@170mph in the 1/4. We never once claimed that the only modification to this bike was the velocity stacks. We have made multiple videos showing everything that has been done to it and the results both on the dyno and at the track from those mods. This video shows what differences we have seen not only on this bike but on every single bike we have put them into as a reference guide for anyone looking at buying the stacks.

    Where can I buy the chain sliders and a idler pulley for under the swing arm
    I run my chain tight as crap to not hit the arm because the factory rubber slider didn’t work c and s swing arm

    Just a thought, I read that Dyno jet dynos were designed for the bike to be sat on by the operator. Supposedly they need the added rider weight to maintain the best rear wheel contact aka non slippage (?). Rumor is that it's good for a few HP.

    I've been following the build since the start and lov and loving it..
    Cant remember if you upgraded the coils or anything in the spark department.. if not wouldn't a stronger spark allow you to burn more fuel and intern make more hp ?

      id shift right were the torque curve starts droping grab a gear you will be farther down the track than youwould be stringing it out max rpm

      Yes std reads higher than sae but we started with std and finished with std.
      Why would Brock care about us testing velocity stacks.

    Chris have u seen a difference in power with a loose chain vs a tighter chain..i notice how loose it is and wondering if it performs better like that as far as hp

      If a chain is to tight it will for sure lose power.

    Hey Chris, two quick questions for you:
    Why is it that you clutch in after then run? I dont recall ever seeing that technique with my bikes on the dyno.
    Do you see the same sort of gains from velocity stacks on the previous gen GSXR 1000?

    Those dimpled ones could do better, if they were a bit longer. Not much, but around 5-10mm. Just to even out the dips in the power curve.

    Great videos as always Chris . Question Suzuki gsx 01 /03 32 pin connection on the ecu . Not the 04/08 ecu . What can be done to bring up the power , gains , power commander 5, ignition advancer, cams ,

      Joker E the 01/02 and most of the 03 gsx1400 have the older 16 pin ecu that seemingly can't be flashed.
      The newer 04/08 have a ecu that can be flashed .
      That's why I was wondering what can be done with the older gsx1400 tuning wise

      Joker E 32 pin connector sounds more correct. 2 lines of 16 pins top and bottom. In terms of part number and diagram seems very much like the 02. As in 1 big block connector. 32920-42F21-000 . Hope this helps

Pluss I'm from the uk so I know we dont have the restrictions like the USA but my question is my l5 gsxr 600 which is stock apart from a slip on with a catalyst and only seems to hit 155mph . It also seems like it held back in gears 1 to 4 but 5th gets full power .

    Seriously, any child of engine tuning knows that shorter stacks gives better HP. Create stacks of equal length as stock with dimples and then you have a real test of engineering. Nice Bike!
