Just started having a similar issue after 5+ years of owning this lens. Not the exact same but the focusing “clicking” sound is much louder than before.
I’m having the same problem. I purchased used on eBay and it’s too late to return….. I’m really hoping it doesn’t become a worse problem. This is worrying.
Ακριβώς το ίδιο πρόβλημα. Έχει εδώ και λίγο καιρό που συμβαίνει, ίσως από το καλοκαίρι. Προχθές που φωτογράφιζα ένα φιλικό μου ζευγάρι, προς το τέλος του session σταμάτησε να κάνει autofocus εντελώς. Ακουγόταν έντονα μόνο το σφύριγμα και καθόλου λειτουργία focus. Μετά από καμιά ώρα επανήλθε. Θα μιλήσω με το κατάστημα από όπου τον αγόρασα και βλέπουμε τι θα γίνει.
@@Stefanosinf With that same problem, I gave it to a repair shop here in Nepal. Unfortunately, the lens stopped auto focusing after the shop tried to fix problem. Don't what happened!! :(

Sorry to hear that. My second copy has been great tho. So there must had been a partially issue i guess.

I have this as well. So disappointed that this is happening on what's supposed to be one of Tamron's top lenses.

I returned it and got another copy. No problems in the new one.
@@Stefanosinf I can't return mine to the seller. Did the company tell how it happened? It would be great to know the cause of that squeaky noise.

@@bivasshrestha6207 sorry to hear this. I hope they improve on their service, because the lens is a gem otherwise.

I returned the lens and got another copy. It was on Warranty.
