That's true, the FLX 4 has some features of that nature. But what you are describing is a guide that teaches you how to do the thing, instead of doing the thing, you know what I mean? That's what I meant
Thanks Bafo for the videos you made me to purchase FLX4, I love it. Now I can't wait for you to make a video which will help in making money without gigs.
I find these controllers bulky and busy. Love my K2! I have 2 of them paired, had them for years and they never failed. Played in my living room, clubs and festivals. You need to program each and every button, ultimate customisation
Thanks alot grootman i always watch your videos for learning more about djing cause am still a beginner but i would be much happy if you can make a video on how to get gigs or get booked😁
Great video partner! Curios your thoughts on the Rane Performer. Been of the DDJ-1000 SRT for a few years and keeping it, but the Rane Performer seems like the best ever built
What is your view on the Hybrid HMC4? I am conflicted between the Hybrid and HMC4. I am not going to use it at gigs because I can use CDJs. This will be used for practising or recording mixes (so that I can listen again and rectify mistakes).
Looking for a controller for my 10 yr old cousin to start with, and that he'd be able to use for a while as he advances. Is the Hercules 500 the best overall option for him in your opinion? And what other items (cables/connectors, speakers, headphones, etc?) would you suggest? THANKS!
QUESTION, how many of these pults have built in speakers, is it only the party mix live ? i bought the partymix II but with no in built sound, not sure if it was the right choice
Is Roland dj-202 good? I want to start djing my own music so i am a beginner? And i want a good quality because i want to do live performance when ive learnd
Hello. What would you recommend of a controller that's just needed for home/TH-cam/ mobile Djing... There are so many it is confusing. At the same what software is compatible to what controller.. With a budget of $,1500.00 Really appreciate your input. Much blessings 🙌 Ty 🎚🎙🎧🎛😎
I disagree with the standalones. Best standalones I believe are: 2 channel: Pioneer RX2/ RX3 4 channel: Pioneer XZ And if any DJ has a low budget but he is determined its better to buy a used older but High End / Premium model (ex. DDJ800/1000 or even DDJ SX2) rather than a entry level brand new one. That is my opinion as a DJ :) !!!
I get you but I’d be a terrible content creator if all I did was suggest one brand that is overcharging their customers for gear. RX3 is a really good choice, XZ would be a great suggestion if it wasn’t so expensive and kinda outdated (even the screens on the RX3 are way better, doesn’t support RGB waveforms too), also not everyone actually NEEDS something as beefed up as the XZ. Prime 4+ is a better option across the board (even compared to the opus quad) but it too didn’t make the list. The list is about giving people a few options for each tier, best for the consumer, not because it’s the most beefed up and expensive thing there is out there
on a dj note, I'm looking at the flx4 but, most to everything talking about it is coming up to a year old. makes me worry something new will drop real soon at the same price level.
Also the Hercules T7 has a «beatmatch guide» a tool to help BEGINNERS learn how to beatmatch. So there ARE controllers SPESIFICALLY made with features for BEGINNERS, which aren’t around on other gear
Exactly Traktor has a pretty good software integration and the output is fire. The mixing is much easier and convenient so not sure why we did not talk about it at all? Not even the S4 or S3?
If you gonna use Rekordbox dont bother unless you gonna buy a DDJ1000 as from now on Pioneer is no longer Pioneer... Best use Traktor Pro or VDJ Pro with Denon hardware.
My next purchase!! I figured that if I mention every single controller or have 1 brand appear multiple times in a single category the video would be too long, but yeah the rx3 is pretty dope
Love your perspective on "there is no such thing as a beginner controller". I whole heartedly agree!
I love my DDJ400, but started with DDJ200 which I am still using on holiday. Both brilliant for hobby
Hercules is a "beginner controller" it has a beat matching guide that works excellent for new DJs to learn how to beat match
That's true, the FLX 4 has some features of that nature. But what you are describing is a guide that teaches you how to do the thing, instead of doing the thing, you know what I mean? That's what I meant

I was waiting for this video for so long .Especially for South Africans
You can find all these controllers on Takealot or Soundselect ;)
Thanks Bafo for the videos you made me to purchase FLX4, I love it.
Now I can't wait for you to make a video which will help in making money without gigs.
Pros can make anything work and beginners will eventually upgrade so buy good mid range or go for high end get a warranty and keep the box!
I actually cannot think of any reason why anyone would argue with this 🔥
What mid range will you guys recommend?
Your storytelling is so clear and well constructed.
Thank you! Great video!
You are a wonderful youtuber / reviewer. Good job

Planing to upgrade from ddj 400 to denon sc live 4 but im doubting about transitioning from rekordbox to denon software! Any advice?
As a beginner to intermediate dj looking to upgrade from a ddj 200, should I get the ddj flx 4 or the Hercules impulse 500?
Which one would you recommend for a beginner who travels a lot and wants to bring it everywhere?
I think the numark pro go is a great option for that
Very informative! New sub for sure. God bless you!
Thanks alot grootman i always watch your videos for learning more about djing cause am still a beginner but i would be much happy if you can make a video on how to get gigs or get booked😁
I will make a video on that, but also how to make money without gigs
@@thozimusicThat's also great bro
Would love this video@@thozimusic
Hi, is there a controller that i can use usb sticks and have access to all four channels (no laptop)@@thozimusicthanks
Thanks man best help
you're welcome brother, thanks for watching!
Great video partner! Curios your thoughts on the Rane Performer. Been of the DDJ-1000 SRT for a few years and keeping it, but the Rane Performer seems like the best ever built
Oh the rane is better in every single way 😅… especially if you’re a more creative and technical DJ
What is your view on the Hybrid HMC4? I am conflicted between the Hybrid and HMC4. I am not going to use it at gigs because I can use CDJs. This will be used for practising or recording mixes (so that I can listen again and rectify mistakes).
Thank you. Appreciated. Subscribed!
Great review
What are the smart features you don’t like on the FLX4?

Great video , what do you think about Pioneer DJ Controller DDJ-SB3 Serato or Better to buy the FLX4 ?
flx 4
Save money and get a used ddj 400
@@dagnut DDJ 400 has a very bad sound card
@LORDVEEZUS it's fine for home use
@@dagnut Yeah for home its fine but still a waste of 6K

Great video. Earned my sub.
Thanks bro, I really appreciate it
Same
The Denon Prime 4+ is the best of the best.
No lie, but I believe it has been discontinued. It sucks that the SC Lives are newer but still inferior to it
@@thozimusic the Prime 4+ has not been discontinued.
No not disconnected prime 4+ is the greatest controller yet I have one and it’s awesome than the controllers you’re advertising
Thozi please um can you help me get a ddj flx 6 i am a big fan i have suscribed
Thank you, brother!
Hi Thoz,I'm in Tanzania..I do gets something from your videos..now how can I be in your dj course through online?
Hey bro, so dope to be getting love from the East. Yes, my course is online and you can take it from the comfort of your home
Loved the video, dropped a sub
Which one is standalone but can also connect to a computer? Including stream music online and can use a USB stick ???
They all have the ability to do that
@@thozimusic lmfao 😭😭😭 thank you 🙏🏻

Love you videos my bru, what is your view on the Pioneer XDJ-RR?
It’s a bit limited but honestly it gets the job done. If you need a standalone unit and have a budget limited, it’s a great option
Great video grootman
Really good content 👌
Best 4 channel standalone controller without laptop please?
the most expensive one.
@timvanmonero2720 that's what I got... cheers
Numark Mixstream Pro+ 🤙🏼
Everywhere I look there's so much hate on the flx6. Why is that? It's not for anybody?
ha ha, I didn't know people hated it. Do you own one?
flx10 or rane four?
or should i just go all in and buy the denon dj prime 4+
I see that lowfree flow 👀good taste good taste
on a dj note, I'm looking at the flx4 but, most to everything talking about it is coming up to a year old. makes me worry something new will drop real soon at the same price level.
Where is Traktor s2?
just looked into the flx4 until i realised that it is 240€ shipping to Germany ):
uhh that sucks! try looking for a local store
my DDJ T1 still tells me stories about the French Revolution
10/10 video
What is RGB??
Red green and blue.
Performance pads, which can glow in different colours.
Not even a word about NI Traktor Dj controllers...
Solid gear but when's the last time they did anything new?
