Today's episode reminded me of the Handsome Beasts "Breaker" EP that I bought for 50p from the reduced rack at my local independent record shop. Played it over and over at the time. It was always hit and miss which track played on side two as it had a spiral groove.
Hi Dunsy Who was that (not so😄) jovial personality that we had to guess who? Was there a clue in there somewhere? Anyway, when you look at the bands that were about in the early eighties it makes you appreciate how good a time it was for us (young at the time) heavy rock fans. My partner even saw some before they made it big, Def Leppard at Northampton Cricket Club to name one. She also had the honour of seeing AC/DC with Bon Scott at Leicester De Montford Hall. As I was trying to learn to play guitar, obviously I focused more on the guitarists in the bands, and there were some fantastic guitar players, But as I started to learn I began to appreciate all the musicians, and anyone who could master a instrument and also have the bo££ock$ to get up and play in front of a crowd. After seeing the great Ted Nugent on the back cover I am going to try and play Stranglehold later. Cheers

Dunsy,
I love these Sunday strolls through your old Kerrang magazine collection.👌🤘🍺
Did they have any adverts that weren’t music related in them ?
👍🏻👍🏻
