PRO BMX RIDER BRINGS INSANE WORLD FIRST TRICKS TO MY COMPOUND!!

- I teamed up with pro BMX athlete and Great British olympic rider, Kieran Reilly who came to ride my slopestyle compound for the first time. I've been super excited to ride with Kieran and see what he can do on my airbag, his BMX trick level is insane, and it was crazy to see him ride outside the skatepark and on a huge MTB kicker ramp with more airtime for more spins and world first tricks.
I also put down my dirt jump bike and picked up Ben's BMX to continue the quest to land a 1080 on the airbag, which is still ongoing but I took a slam to the head and watched Kieran unveil some tricks that have never been seen before in competitions or videos. Enjoy the carnage,

The types of tricks that Kieran does, tons of spins and whips and bars, require so much perfection that on a lot of other riders they look robotic. Kieran's riding is not only excellent and completely controlled but also fully committed and wonderful to watch and he completely dances around that. He's just got so much damn steeze it's wild

I feel like you need some kind of cover for the helmet for when the bag gets dry. The bag material and shiny surface of the helmet probably grip together when you crash rather than sliding which probably doesn't help. Some kind of cloth cover over the helmet would let it slide more even if it looks weird. It's why helmets have that 'MIPS' in them (POC has S.P.I.N which sounds similar). Anything that stops your head from having to stop suddenly is a good thing.
that or maybe some Vaseline to stop the grip! but you may not want a whole bunch of petroleum jelly on that bag so idk

Good idea. A nylon helmet cover would have low friction.

Seriously Kieran is just the best! What an absolute pit bull. And really just want to show appreciation to Matt and Ben. One of the only channels to actually listen to their viewers and make it happen! Been asking for a Kieran O for over 2 years and they made it happen! Mad props!

That was entertaining to say the least. Had to re-watch a few tricks and run the vid at 1/2 speed to follow exactly how many spins/whips were being done. Hard luck on that fall, think that you may be right about doing stuff like that on a wet bag so you slick if you fall. Hope this one isn't too bad, but know last years was really bad, so compounded I bet your not feeling the best yet - heal up fast, but take as long as you need.

Maybe dry bag and "wet" helmet? Would hate to damage the beauty but if you can put something slippery on that it could make the dry bag head safe while keeping the grip for the tires. Get better soon Matt!
