These sorts of riding sessions don't come around often! I was lucky enough to put the tools down and stop trail building at the playground for a few hours and head to my slopestyle compound for some proper riding and training on the huge dirt jumps, trails and airbag. I was joined by pro slopestyle and enduro riders, Daryl Brown, Sam Reynolds and Olly Wilkins. Everything is running amazing and it felt great to ride my jump bike through the trails which haven't been riding yet this year. Shout out to Jamie for keeping this place maintained. Enjoy the crashes, laughs and big tricks on the jumps.

Matts not had a dh bike for 5 years apparently Marin are in the final stages of there first dh prototype, he’s just put all the dh parts on his enduro whilst he’s waiting for the frame, so hopefully next year he will be at darkfest and hardline

The trails are cool to see because it shows you still find some stuff tricky, but they're good for a session to try and get them the best you can, knowing they're impossible to perfect

4:02 - i've just thought going back to when you were here last year... i'm sure Matt mentioned about to just gently roll in the downramp. It all looks as though you were all mainly dropping in as if you were at a bike/skate park - result = how airborne Matt is on this causing him to expect to hit the airbag sooner than he did resulting in bailing!!

You should use a pulley system to get bikes to top of ramp, get a carabiner clip around the bike frame, climb up, pulley the bike up? Safer and less effort in my opinion (if you gear it right).

If you use cotton, painters canvas over your jumps then it will not trap moisture. They dry faster with canvas and it protects the jumps from erosion from the rain.
