I can sympathize with Dutch! My cousin Roger and his friend were killed by an intoxicated driver in 2010. My wife's aunt Margaret was hit head on and killed in 1997. We both are devastated and feel cheated! They didn't have to die!Jeff got a slap on the wrist! The laws are different for rich and famous people compared to an average Joe! He's had so many chances! He is a liability in the ring and on the road! He's got a sickness and I hope he overcomes it before he hurts himself or another person! Thank you Dutch for having the courage to share your story with us!!

I really love James just letting dutch speak here because god can only guess the pain this type of thing has caused him with his granddaughter. Unlike 'some other more well known interviewers who'll not be named' , which try to make the show about themselves and create narratives out of thin air.

Very well said. I mean if you have a dog that bites you on the leg every day, but you stand there and pet him each time he does it, you're telling him "Hey it's okay for you to continue with that kind of behavior". I remember all that stuff from back in the 80s about how the government was cracking down on drunk driving, they were gonna take a tough stance against it and all that, what happened? I have nothing against Jeff either, but to allow this light of a punishment, is sending the wrong message.

As far as Jeff goes I do think his substance abuse issues strike me as a result of not only being on the road but up and down the road still. When Jeff was last in WWE I imagine Vince wanted until he felt Jeff would be clean or healed that it wouldn't be a problem. But after a few weeks he could see Jeff back pedaling hard then the incident at the house show occured to where they said your done. Sadly at this point other than having Jeff do signings, meet and greets, and training younger wrestlers I don't see any scenario in which we won't be right back here.

Sadly, the stiffer sentences and penalties usually come when it’s too late (someone has died in a car crash due to a drunk driver). Even then, with good behaviour and time served they are usually out within a few years.

I lived in Florida, they don't care about DUIs down here. It's sad but true.

Florida is very strict with DUI's. They're the 17th strictest state where DUI penalties are concerned.

I have over 10 different friends that have three DUIs in the state of Florida. Every one of them had to go to jail for over six months no questions asked don’t pass go don’t collect $200.

I love Jeff but I was recently hit by a drunk driver on the way to work two weeks ago and I must say it is not fair to the victim. Thank you for standing for truth Dutch!

He has been busted 7 times.
I would say 18 months locked up, no driving for 6 years with the addition he gets caught ever again 6 years in prison

It was his 3rd DUI. Thats a 3 yr suspension in Tennessee and like 60 days
They have the bracelets in florida too. My ex wife had one. I think it tests sweat.

He got lucky , unfortunately he probably won't get the help he needs. Atleast in jail he had a good chance to stay clean.

Dutch may like Jeff but the question is, does Jeff like Jeff? Jeff has no concern for himself or others & that’s why he’s a danger in the Wrestling profession & out of it.

If he hits someone and kills them next time, it should be on the law system as much as Jeff. This is not okay. Should've got jail time and never been able to drive again and near Alcohol and all drugs for life. Or automatic 5 years in jail.

What's the over/under on the number of days before he is drunk behind the wheel again. I give him 88 days.

    • @maggielusk6833
      @maggielusk6833 ปีที่แล้ว

I don't even give him 2 weeks. He's prbly already driving as we speak. He thinks he's above the law and this slap on the wrist AGAIN shows he's clearly right about that! Your rich and famous the same laws don't apply.

1-3??? with all the times he has been busted??? maybe 1-3 years probation....he deserves 3-5 in jail!! any normal regular person would get 90 days an their 3rd dui!

What Dutch says isn’t very different about what I hear about DUI’s and he’s right.
How many people have to die, so they can actually penalize and try to prevent deaths from drunk/inebriated drivers.
I love and grew up with Jeff too and it sucks seeing him struggle like this.
