Mike - Been away for a bit. Am now spending the rest of the winter in Florida where it was 73 today. Left weather in the 0 to minus temps overnight in Iowa. Snow should be gone by the time we get back in May. Have a day sir, and enjoyed catching up today. Congrats to Eva on her lifting capabilities. Am guessing the boys don't give her too much trouble. Blessings to you and your family. Hi to Melissa, Hunter, Hannah, and Eva.

Nice of you to take care of your sister's drive, your mom's, Levi's and neighbor Cliff. Back when I heated with wood, my brother was always searching for trees and doing all the sawing. I never, not once asked him. He said one day, my drive has washed out, I'm having a load of gravel delivered tomorrow. Instantly, I knew I would be helping, it's just natural. You're a good man Mike. You will always be respected and thought of as a good man and great friend. It's also sweet of you to get Melissa to operate your excavator, I'm sure she's gonna enjoy that! It's gotten cold at night here in Hickory NC, but it's in mid to upper 40's during the day. No snow at all this winter.

Good morning! 27F and severe clear here in NC this morning for our walk.
That table was in the worst place, between the house you were conscious of and the goal post Melissa was handling, and right in a blind spot over the tire. But, as many have mentioned, it’s not like you have no replacement boards, or if you don’t, a little time on the sawmill can remedy that! Glad it wasn’t worse. No blood, no broken bones.
Y’all have a good Super Bowl weekend!

Hi Mike, glad to see you use the blade. I do have to admit, using a blade can be tricky. You have to manually adjust the angle, the drop (non horizontal angle) and the off perpendicular angle to be just right to get it to do what you want the blade to do for you. You have three different angles to work with. Maybe you could do a video on that? I learned all I wanted to learn trying to work out some soft parts of a trail. Made a huge mess and got a lot of exercise getting on and off the tractor making adjustments. Cheers!

Please make a video when the ice melts and do you have water erosion during that time or have you made previsions for that before hand. I have a similar set-up, utility tractor with a pull-behind, 3 point hitch angle blade, similar to yours.

Mark Nichols, Everett Pa. I enjoy watching your channel. I work in the oilfield in ND. My wife and I had a firewood business years ago. I had a Yanmar B50 excavator with a thumb and Timberwolf commercial log splitter and firewood conveyor. 16' Bri Mar dump trailer to deliver firewood and haul excavator. Can't forget 4 chain saws from trim saw to 28" bar on big saw. Alot of similarities watching your channel. Mark

For plowing, I prefer a tractor without a loader, chains and a wide and heavy rear blade with hydraulics. It can be used to even stack snow in piles by swinging the blade around.

Amazing, how the camera just happened to zeroed in on the picnic table when the “accident” occurred.
