Thank you, Josh! Your videos are helping me alot. I have never used Propresenter to the full extent. Have used 5, 6, and now 7. Renewed Vision has good tutorials, but I have enjoyed yours, too!! If I have questions, I will let you know. Looking forward to investigating Pexels.
Really appreciate you! Question: loaded the sample material but the "sample playlist" does not have the whole event in the middle section. What I have are the "11 Items" in the left column that I have to click on individually to open in the middle section. What yours looks like is exactly what I have been trying to do! Thoughts? You nailed it when you said "in case something happens to the one or two people who do this..." As the person who has been tossed in to the deep end I know this to be a real concern to my coworkers!
Yeah you should be able to access this in your folder structure but you cannot just edit the file in there. Mine is found in this folder structure if it helps C:\Users\usernamehere\Documents\ProPresenter\Libraries
@@learnpropresenter so in that library‘s folder you see the playlist named Sunday? When I look at preferences and advanced I see the support files is under C data is that where I’m going to find all these folders and files? How would we move playlists from one computer to another then?
@@jstump1972 You could simply take all these folders and move them to your new computer in the same place for the repository but note you will probably want your themes and media etc. folders too. There is also a way of doing it with export and import in file - preferences if you take a look in there you can export your files then import them on your new computer
@@learnpropresenter Do the themes sit in the same folder structure or are they elsewhere on the computer? Is there a certain file extension I can search for to find my themes?
They are very similar. Essentially, the library is where you store your presentations you have made. Think of this like if you were using powerpoint and you clicked save as to save it in your files and folder on your computer. The playlist is where you put together individual presentations to create the event you will be running. This is like your powerpoint file that is made up of lots of different slides. Each of the presentations that you use to create your playlist has to be saved and stored in your library. The language does get a little bit confusing as we associate presentations with a poweproint presentation but an event is made up of lots of presentations in PP7 as an individual presentation is like a section of a service or event e.g. a song would be a presentation, the MC spot would be a presentation, the conclusion would be a presentation.
Thank you for this tutorial. Great video 👏 keep creating propresenter tutorials and tips & tricks 🔥

You'll find all of your folders in the propresenter folder with media, themes libraries and others there.
I still dont understand the difference between Library and Playlist. They behave the same?

I'm sure it's an Aussie thing.... What in the world is an MC Spot?
Kind of like a master of ceremonies or the host of the church
