Custom maps should be a real thing in the actual game. Maybe you can pay to "renovate" your restaurant after hitting 5 stars or something so that you can tear down walls and add counters
Hmm, seems like it would make franchise's too similar/boring at that point. Maybe if the restaurant upgrades were semi-random? The idea of having/getting to totally rework your setup because the restaurant changes but your blueprints/cards didn't seems really cool though.
Honestly competitive could work just by having customers be a massive shared pool, with each player having a minimum number from that pool they have to serve. Whoever takes the order first has to serve the customer. If you fail to meet your quota or a customer times out you are eliminated. This also naturally rewards the faster players with more money, allowing them to scale faster and deny the competion valuable resources. It would also help keep games from going on forever. Fun to think about
i was thinking a shared pool of customers, but instead of taking the order first you have it set up like a bar or something where you have to have open seats to 'claim' a customer. this would stop people from being able to directly effect opponents by trolling or w/e you could also have a system where every customer satisfied lowers the patience of customers at other shops and each day the amount it effects other shops increases, with that you wouldnt need a quota because faster players would knock out others just by being fast
1:01:17 I would love a way to prioritise tables (i.e. so they sit at fancy tables first, or so solo diners use a bar table instead of a table for two).
This gave me an idea where you should put everything in the middle and split the tables in half to compete against itsgng. You would need a copier so any blueprints that both of you want you don't have to fight for
4:35, that explains why I couldnt reroll a coffee machine even if I rerolled 20 blueprints and spent over 20k on rerolls... the rerolls costed 400g at the end...
This map is ideal for fully automated restaurant. Just do table 2 long with one of them to pull plates and then use the inside of the counter to run a belt with food for self serving.
custom maps can be good for both Cheesed tactic for how many days can last before closed down and another be hardcore method just to reach 5 star and done in unfriendly environment set up.
You guys should get use to using the tray more often because from the beginning of video you bought them and neither both of you didn’t use it once in any day.
It turned out that eventually it'd only have one customer a day no matter what. Either he decided that it'd make uninteresting content and stopped, or he started having trouble finding the variety card. I really wanted to see the kitchen when he had to be ready to serve literally any dish, but I get it if he decided not to do like 8 more episodes of him serving one person per day.
@@brandonsattizahn4443 Ah, I see... Yeah, I would also find it very interesting to see how the restaurant would turn out looking like with every single dish.
Hey dude, you should try 1v1 plateup! I think it would be sick for you and someone linke itsgng/stanz to play. Not tryna clout chase but proof of concept is on my channel. Love the vids man!

What now

How about a "door" appliance that replaces a wall, and upgrades to a 1 space wide window and then a 2 wide window?
i feel like thats the fast-track to optimizing the fun out of the game
@@joelpaik If other people want to optimize for fun who are we to stop their need to perfect things though?
Skootie sees itsgng burn multiple items right away. "What if we split the restaurant?"
the food was lightly charred and i got the boot
Only to then burn the restaurant down himself the last day

their restaurant with the blue and wood, looks like a ship in the middle of a sea serving toasts

This is my favorite game right now, I hope they add this as a feature!!! Trying to solo all 15 days on pizza :) getting better every day!

When you want a break from PlateUp, have you considered Diner Bros?
I know this was a modded map but is it available as a seed?
Wow I like that map
At 49 minutes your expected customers randomly jumps from 15 to 20 and back. Random glitch or are there hidden factors at play?
Day 15, Skootie catches the kitchen on fire. Impressive Setup.
You could've made blueprints spawn inside instead of outside to make it easier
Make a custom map that recreates that old game "Tapper" :)
Watching all the counter getting dumped was painful
