You actually dont need a second coffee machine to automate it, you can make a loop of grabbers with the coffee machine in it and it would work once the first empty cup does the first loop! Try it out if you can ;)
I would definitely recommend using Blueprint Desks in the future lol. They can be *so* helpful for getting the stuff you need ASAP (i.e. 2nd coffee machine, conveyors, prep stations, BP cabinets, mixers, etc).
I would love to see another attempt at this one. This was a really cool setup. The low rolls on the new items were a killer :(. And the game really said, "no sides lmao".
Yeah that last kitchen was beautiful! I'd say that a few minor tweaks would have made it better. Namely: get rid of the row of counters and move all the automation directly to the counter. This would let one player focus on plating the food/coffee and the other solely on moving/cleaning dishes. In the current setup there's a wasted step when the cook plates everything and then has to run over to dishes--both players could both be in serving area with that tweak.
1:01:39 idky but itsgng missing grabbing the plates had me dying because I do that shit too and it has me triggered. When he said “what the hell” it sent me😂
I believe if you make a line of tables in the dining room so that the customers all sit on the otherside of you, their mess won't cross the line and you have a clean space to serve people
Even with an increase of customers, I feel this set up would work more perfectly with one more player, or even more so with a team of four. With 3 people you could have a second waiter help keep the coffee maker running, grab dirty plates, and wash them across the wall. Or with a team of four, the 4th person could focus solely on cleaning dishes, and maybe doing a bit of research as well. With the 4 person setup, you might even be able to leave the chef locked in at the front counter with the plate automation moved up one so you could always have plated meals ready to serve.
hey skootie. I think you are able to combine table and place them right at the window into the kitchen. You can take the orders and serve the customers. It can be "the dining room is lava" challenge and you are not allowed to leave the kitchen during the cooking day.
you actually could have made automated coffee. in a 4x4, circle the empty cups into the coffee machine and use smart grabber to pull a full cup out into the prep station. Automating the sink area was weird. Takes a huge turn just to clean the dishes. HAHA Too bad you dont get a dirty dish rack. It would have been a very successful run.
@@John-bv9mu Totally, yes. However, in cases like this episode, where they didn't get a second coffee machine offered, the grabber-circle setup would have been the only feasible method. I mainly brought it up because Skootie said it would take a 3×3 setup sans second coffee machine but it can be done in a 2×3 like above
Plating with a tray is not as impossible or difficult as you think it is if your auto plater is set up properly. Definitely could completely eradicate most of the kitchen-side workflow
A part of me died when you passed over the extra prep station in the first half. Turning it into a frozen prep could have been so good for your coffee since that doesn't change like the fish. It pained me to see you having to refill the coffee prep stations every morning
Ah last thing I would’ve done is had the coffee machine reachable from the kitchen so that if the kitchen is free they can at least start a coffee. But that was a great run I’m totally gonna get this game it looks so fun
Unrelated to the game, but there is one appliance that is called Thermomix, and it is a heated mixer, with a scale and also useful as a food processor.
Could have just moved the fish spawns up one to allow for better space usage. Also, someone needs to tell GNG to always be active. He's leaving prep station sections empty while just standing around doing nothing.
Idk how you get so many grabbers/conveyors so early. I usually won't even get my first conveyor till I hit franchise. And I'll often reroll full blueprints at least 10 times. I just have shit luck.
This already is a franchise run but unless they had the “get more conveyors” card (which I don’t think they had btw) it really just depends on the seed
"I can't plate stuff with the tray..." Noob. Pick up plates, set them down then pick up the items and place them on the plates. Easy. You can ether do 2 plates then two items or pick up one plate and one item and plate them. I tray solo and I never put it down except for ice cream (and you can even do ice cream with the tray it's just awkward) Only thing that hurts with trays is anything that needs a bun because that's another layer of complexity.
At the end there was no reason for the chef to be in the kitchen anymore he was doing nothing literally nothing If he made the set up more the left the waiter could of grabbed the fish on his own

True! But two machines definitely makes it easier
The efficiency of you two in second half is so amazing to see! Starting just before the automation

What a run, that coffee is no joke though
1:33 It seems that now that there are three fish options, twitch viewers are only allowed to order three-oyster, not two-oyster dishes.
39:40 Lucky they didn't want coffee, or it would've been game over.
48:18 Definitely Red Lobsters in Canada. Can confirm, and those cheesy biscuits are to die for (can sometimes get them in Costco).

Coffee seems to be deceptively hard to keep up since it can't be easily automated
It looks like you can do it with only 4 grabbers:

C < v
where C is the coffee machine, the arrows are grabbers, and the X is a countertop
