If you do breakfast auto again, I would probably go with a gas overdrive in the set up somewhere because it's doubles cooking time and you don't have to worry about food burning
35:00 can’t believe they spent so much money on rerolls the day before and now they get a hob they roll it away. Just put it in cabinet and turn it to safety/danger. Either would work. Cabinet goes where one of the tables for middle table is and the other person takes over serving there fully. Safety adds more toast to Skootie’s side, danger for beans.
My last run was solo pies. I managed to get to OT 27 with full automation. I had all 4 sides, but no starters, desserts, or alternate mains and got stuck with lunch and dinner rush along with closing time. On my last day I was at about 220 customers + another 50 from the rushes + who knows how many from closing time. I was really hoping to get coffee because I had the room and grabbers ready to set it up for automation since it could auto-serve with charming letting customers sit at dirty tables.
They really need to add a card, either normal or franchise, that gives you another option to pick from when they give you the active cards. That was an incredible run, really sucks that sides just didn’t show up
This was uploaded 10 months ago by the time I'm commenting, so you've probably beaten it by now, but the other day I had like 380+ customer on an OT day 20 solo burger run with individual dining and zero sides or starters and only cheese as a topping. I had a wall of like 8 bar tables with the instant service card. It was broken. By the time I served a customer, washed another customers plate, grabbed the burger and served another customer, one of the other tables would be sat and ready for food. So as long as I didn't miss click too much I could just reset the outside patience completely and have time to serve, wash and feed another customer. The only reason I didn't get past OT day 20 was because I got bored of the same thing over and over and tried automating stuff and it messed up my rhythm
The power spike you guys missed is the double safety hob for your toast. Microwave is the play for bread, unfortunately, cuz otherwise it's 25 seconds for bread which is just TOO LONG. Especially since Skootie didn't have a freezer, he'd be waiting up to 30 seconds (plus grabber travel time) for his 10 slices of bread each time. But with double safety hob that's a toast every 2 seconds, which is faster than your serving times were, so you wouldn't run out there. From there, you'd need to worry about washing speeds but that wouldn't be a problem for a couple of days at least.
Tkx for making shorter and then more vids out of 1 session makes it handier if you have not all the time in the world to watch it fully and want to watch it later
Do metal tables make people eat slower? Like do they have some sort of downside that would make them not replace the normal dining tables earlier? Edit: was gonna say I couldn’t believe no one even in chat thought to split the bottom table into two with a metal but last LAST minute they do. Not that it helped much though for the last day 😅
on the twitch VOD, someone actually mentioned the wood/metal table split pretty much right when they selected individual dining but skoottie didn't bother reading it- at all. Gng's chat was the shotcaller there :P
there should be checkpoints in the game where the player gets stars and they make a decision. we could try one more time with the other choice of debuf

How would a second frozen prep be a "huge power spike" when the problem is the cook time of the toast and the manual nature of the microwave? Sometimes I think gng just says thing and doesn't think it through.

I know the convo was like 2 minutes in the hour and noone asked but I eat beans on toast as like a side, I put my beans in a bowl and have some toast on a plate next to it and then I either put the beans on top or I dip the toast. Either way if this was breakfast realistic to me, the beans would be a side
I think to add to the challenge and make automatic cleaners and cleaning supplies more valuable is that they should have a day we're a health expector comes to the restaurant and it needs to be at least 50% clean to get a passing grade or something like that

I know that people skip the limiter and override because they need to be actively used, but if the problem is waiting on bread, they would have the time to pull the lever. Granted, it probably wouldn't have got them too much farther with how fast the customer count was climbing.
Prediction at the 43:59 point, during the ice-cream v rush decision: Skoottie will fail to be persuaded to choose rush and choose ice cream. Skoottie does not realize that double orders allow them to not only order toast more than once, but ice cream as well. Skoottie will be horrified to learn that he will now have to serve many tables four times (or more!) before they'll leave the restaurant. With about 10 mins left on the video I feel thats about enough time for an ice cream death. Update: Half right. He wasn't convinced but he let chat and his buddy make the call.
@@akaspeedy I can't answer for certain but if you think you'll have fun with a mod then go for it. The only place theyre bad is if its hacks to get an advantage against other people online, but just changing the world isn't that
Metal tables reduce patience. Yes, it allows them to skip sides, but they didn't have any sides anyway. So using the metal tables would have only provided the downside with no upside. That's why they didn't use them. They could have used them because they served fast enough to not have to worry about patience, but it ultimately wouldn't have made a difference because time-to-toast was their biggest problem.

Even if your not using cabinets to upgrade you should still be putting blueprints in them to increase the amount of rerolles options you get

Gas override might have been the play unless it causes safety hobs to burn
You could have got more stoves to use as bean storage instead of using the bench tops.
That way you wouldnt need to juggle the 1 danger hob you have.

Actually, there's no point in using microwave, since basic cooking time is 20s for a loaf and 3s for a slice
