Definitely no on Mcmahon. Has a career road OPS of .682 and .223 BA. We need some bullpen help but there are probably guys i'm not thinking of but I think they should just go after Luis Robert or Rooker.
I'm left to wonder if my idea didn't get included because: -Submitted too late -submitted incorrectly (email) -not a fully fleshed out idea - not realistic enough to warrant discussion In summary I see where Seattle and Tampa could make a huge trade involving 8-10 guys. Ms add salary with some future options while Rays shed salary and get something out of guys they're not likely able to afford in the near future.
The best deadline acquistion we could possibly get this year is Julio Rodriguez for nobody. Julio is our best player, our 3 hitter, our superstar, and hes got a fuckin 670 ops
It.occurs to me that we have all been looking at this backward. Rather than rehash all the same old possible additions to the lineup. Rather we should be looking at what we no longer need or can afford to offload. Who goes away? Your Mendoza line dp combo of Crawford and Moore Maybe then someone like Bichette makes more sense. Corner outfield? Both Raley and Canzine have been hailed as our outfield saviors this season. Not who do we aquire but who do we move on from?
Not really. Don’t see him doing any better than he is right now and history shows that. He hits into double plays more than anyone because he is slow as a snail. Plus he’s on the short side for those jump up and reach line drives over your head or throws to 1B. If you watched him the last couple of years he strikes out a ton.
Kopech is a mess, man. Stay away, very, very, very far away. I’m an insanely pissed off White Sox lifer because since 2019-20 was when they were just about to go on a mini dynasty and it’s ended on its ass by 1 playoff series loss and talent traded or failed in a 5 year span. I don’t want him to leave but I do like Robert and it’s perfectly clear that the Sox are 100% committed to NOT winning so if he gets an opportunity to win, I’m down with that!!! So…..treat him well, Seattle, and he’ll do the same in return!!! Hope you guys do go on to win it all.
Randy is hitting like 0.174 right now. We don't need a 2nd Garver

Whats the point, that bat will probably hit worse when they get here
Can we lock up Raley longterm so I can get his jersey please 😁

It would be like trading miles straw for Julio rodriguez.
But like Canzone, Polanco, Morales and Hancock for Arrozarena and Pete Fairbanks might work?
I don’t think I’ve ever been more tired of watching a player than I am of Mitch Haniger right now
No no no BLISS DONT TRADE
Haniger isn’t all that bad
This is wrong
He has been horrible
No, he hasn’t.
... if you're an Astros fan
No, he just isn’t that bad. I am a Mariners fan as far back as 1995.
I'm calling Detroit about Carpenter or Riley Green. They are both pre arbitration but Young, Pete and Canzone would be a start.
Trade with the A*stros
King Tuck
For
Ford, Arroyo/Morales, Clase
I wouldn’t want Tucker anyway. I can’t stand the Astros and want to trade for a better bat than Tucker. I think he is on the decline anyway.
Can we please get rid of Mitch haniger, his at bats are the worst on the team
Please please i hope you jinx this as we are headed into the 10th with him leading off.
Edit: well said.
Scott loves him
@@dsnow42 make him third base coach then
Yeah Scott would be a perfect 3rd base coach
We need a right fielder...time to move on from haniger

First! Go Kirby!
Ahhhhh, you shot me
Everyone trying to get rid of our current hottest hitter in France is baffling.

That was the last couple of years not this year. He is better this years. Stop bitching.
If you think batting a .241 avg is good?
I said current hottest hitter.

Yes, as of right now. I agree people don’t understand that current word. They would rather complain and get worse.

Who would Chicago want for Robert’s? Kirby?
Why would we give up Kirby. Hell no!!!!
