I really wanted him on the list but he didn’t have any truly insane runs, he was just kinda generally good. Also didn’t want 2 2023 runs on the list. Would absolutely include him if I do a part 2 someday!
@@BrashFan Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I just expected more. Without him and polanco's contracts we actually woulda gone out and got a Vlad/Robert. Stuck in the same spot every year :/
There was a guy I forgot his name....I think it was Jacob bucky or something like that ...he was a one year one wonder I've always wondered what hat happened to him ...he played in the early 2000's after griffey and a-rod were gone
Found it! Bucky Jacobsen, first base. Hit really well in 42 games in 2004 but didn’t appear in the bigs again. Might need to include this one in a future video. Thank you for this!
@@jamesblack6226 started off ‘05 in AAA and was absolutely horrific. Not sure if that was caused by an injury or just bad performance. Might have to look more into this one
@@mr.t1941 My bad, should have definitely clarified that during the video A linsanity run is when a player (who’s usually not known for being very good) goes on a stretch where they perform well above their career norms
God I wish Kyle Lewis had never gotten hurt. He really seemed like he was going to be something special.
@@SirLorence yep! I think he’d still be an invaluable piece of the team now if it weren’t for injuries
Yeah, dude absolutely SHOVED in 2020.
Dylan Moore is such a streaky player, I’d love to see him put it all together a full season that would be so fun
@@loganpocius4836 I agree completely! Love the kid and would love to see him break out
Might as well give Kyle Lewis a minor league deal to see if he has anything left in the tank
I agree!
Vogelbach has never been seen again
It’s objectively hilarious that as soon as I recorded this saying “he’s starting to find a real role on the Blue Jays” he gets DFA’d 😂
Needed a Mike Ford section for stealing everybody’s hearts

I’d bring Lewis back rn lol
@@GarverBlows I’d be down for bringing him back on a minor league deal for sure
@@BrashFan Lewis> Garver
@@GarverBlows I disagree, Garver’s swing the bat well since June started

@@GarverBlows tbf Garver still has a year and a half on his deal, I still think his Mariners tenure can be a net positive
can you do the chunichi dragons
I thought Shed Long was going to be him

I’m like actually curious haha, but I’m looking at the early 00’s rosters and can’t find who you’re thinking of, do you remember what position he was?

No Dae Ho Lee? 😢
I was not aware of this one! I’m working on other video ideas but at some point I could absolutely do a pt. 2
God I miss Kyle Lewis. There’s just something about him that’s so likable and he was going to be the guy, feel terrible for him

Linsanity?
@@mr.t1941 My bad, should have definitely clarified that during the video
A linsanity run is when a player (who’s usually not known for being very good) goes on a stretch where they perform well above their career norms
Named after basketball player Jeremy Lin.
I thought Edwin Encarnacion was quite good while we had him for half of 2019 another honorable mention is the beloved Carlos Santana of 2022
I did look into Encarnacion, that’s a good one! Was probably my #6, just missed the cut. Miss Slamtana too
