    Thank you sir, can u explain how constant impedance load (if load impedance is given instead of P and Q) can be specified in load flow analysis instead of constant power load? and also for a PQ bus without load, is it allowed to ground the output voltage measurement? Please try upload video on power flow analysis on island microgrid with droop control. Thank you

    pls i tried opening with simulink but the mdl files in the Hada toolbox are in .MDL and not in .mdl. Please what can i to open it?

      Thanks for the comment. Just change the extension by right clicking on the MDL and write in small capital letter such as .mdl
      It will run smoothly.

      Thanks for the compliments. In my opinion it is possible. For this purpose, you just need the distribution system data and DG capacity. Based upon this data, you can model it in simulink. Obviously it will take some time to properly run it. But it is possible.

    Assalamualaikum Dr. I want to ask if I dont have rms block. Can I replace the block with something else?

      Wa'alaikum salaam if you are using matlab, then rms block is available. However, if you don't want to use it, then the answer given will be in peak voltage. You have to divide it to obtain the rms voltage.

      IEEE 14 bus system power flow can be carried out using the MATPOWER toolbox. However, DG integration may be possible by following any research paper closely related to this topic.

      With some modifications, we have to put some components then it may provide real and reactive power. It may not provide directly real and reactive power losses.

      Thanks for the comment. These are different settings suitable for different simulation models. In power electromics based models where we need pulse width modulation, mostly discrete power gui is used. For conventional power system continuous powerr gui is used. For load flow studies or other complex models, sometime phasor power gui is used to obtain the correct results.
