Im so thank, for these usefull lessons Sir! Im loving with how amzing are the study of power system analysis. Sorry for the mistakes, im not a native speaker, portuguese is my official language.
thanks for all Sir,i have problem witn my network, my network got 148 bus but whem i tried and simulate it all network has changé the color ( it's became yellow) in fact ,i don't what's happen
The current phase angle (+/-) corresponds to opposite power angle (+/-) . Looking at an example of a voltage source with one ideal inductor (size does not matter) you will see the that the current angle becomes -90 degrees (current lags voltage) a lagging power angle corresponds to positive reactive power. The opposite is true for capacitors. So you can see the current angle is always exactly opposite the power angle (assuming voltage angle is 0). So to properly calculate complex power (S=VI*) you would need to use the conjugate of the current to calculate the complex power in the correct quadrant. Hope this helps.
Would you mind if I correct you by telling that what he actually wrote is "Y12=Y21=-y12" ? So clever at finding mistakes huhh ,well I guess you lost your concentration in that part ,better watch the lecture again (:
Professor D P Kothari Sir is my favourite professor. He is the real source of knowledge of Electrical Power System Engineering. ❤❤
This is very useful lecture for power system engineers. Thank you Kothari Sir.
It's a good lecture with bits of humor, easy to understand and simple explanation.
Amazing delivery and method of teaching!
examples provided by sir is really hilarious...:D

I agree with all the comments posted earlier than mine. Greatest lecture!!
thank you sir! 😊 Love your lectures and the book Modern Power System Analysis too.
sir u r incredible.....am from mauritius....i have been struggling with this chapter as lectures were too bad...
YOU ARE GURU! Keep making these power systems lectures, please.
A must watch for "All the NIT's profs."
I thank to you from core of my heart.
old is always gold ❤
who is this scholar. if only i could make him my guru...
D.P Kothari
Is this for UG?
thank u sir" u r great,
great lecture,if studied from ur class i would become like edison,,
This is amazing. wow!
Very good lecture, now load flow has cleared to me.
you are awesome, professor!
BEST LECTURE VIDEO
After so many years we are still studying the same things
AWESOME EXPLANATIONS... GREAT LECTURE...
Brilliant Lecture.. Sir made the topic easy to understand!!
This is an amazing explanation!
Awesome Lecture .. Thank You Prof. Kothari Sir
such an easy language with basic concept ...
roti chapati fulka ...hilarious sir
very good and basic lecture i had learnt alot
I'm Turkish and watch your lecture perfect
♡ from India 😊
excellent class...Thanks a lot dear sir.
Thank you sir! I use your book only for power system analysis, but only thing is that it has only 1,2 sums solved in book
It's an interesting work. Thank you sir!
Thanks professor!
vary vary good and thanks
very very helpful thank u sir
Thank you Professor
❤❤❤❤
thank you very much
Thanks Sir.
thank you sir..
🙇✨
A politician can because someone else pays for it :)
sahashra pranam...
God 🙏🙏
thanks sir
please do what you can to Spanish subtitle
porfavor lo puede subtitular al español

Load flow is online solution or offline
great video
i´m not a native english speaker so this accent is hard to understand for me
why conjugate of current is taken in complex power
The current phase angle (+/-) corresponds to opposite power angle (+/-) . Looking at an example of a voltage source with one ideal inductor (size does not matter) you will see the that the current angle becomes -90 degrees (current lags voltage) a lagging power angle corresponds to positive reactive power. The opposite is true for capacitors. So you can see the current angle is always exactly opposite the power angle (assuming voltage angle is 0). So to properly calculate complex power (S=VI*) you would need to use the conjugate of the current to calculate the complex power in the correct quadrant. Hope this helps.
To obtain proper sign for reactive power it is necessary to find VI* rather than V*I which would reverse the sign for Q.
thank u sir"
I feel little bit confused during middle of the section
Give me a example of 10 node network
nice sir
Revising 3rd time......
New courses should have been uploaded
How to see all lectures from starting to end all lectures please give me information if anyone know...
nptel.ac.in/courses/108102047/
How to find angle plz ans
EXCELLENT
debebe
its good, but he's too slow and boring
Anyone from b tech
I'm here...3rd Year Electrical Engg. !
Y12 = Y21 = -Y12
SO Y12 = -Y12 😂

Please analyse the terms properly..
Don't co relate the unnecessary terms
Would you mind if I correct you by telling that what he actually wrote is "Y12=Y21=-y12" ? So clever at finding mistakes huhh ,well I guess you lost your concentration in that part ,better watch the lecture again (:
thank u sir very nice lecture
Thanks sir..
thanks sir.
