Though I am now 62 and a grandmother of “too many”. (12), there are still 6 of them in school and I help my children with school supplies and clothing (Praise God we are at a place we can do this). I love ALL your content and this video helps to get me on task for things.
Yessssss, the first Twister had a beautiful kiss at the end. After they were inside the tornado, strapped to the pipes, and the tornado broke up and disappeared, they started to go back and forth about who is going to run the lab.. they almost kiss but then the rest of their crew showed up and interrupted it "hey Jo, Bill, check out that sky!" And Jo replies, "Ya know what, I think we've seen enough". And THEN they kiss. That's been my FAVORITE movie since I was a young teen. My husband laughs at me cuz I could sit and recite the entire movie word for word. 😂😂 I'm afraid to see this new one because the first one holds such a special place in my heart. I'm afraid it'll ruin it for me. LOL
Oh I love grocery hauls from other countries! I just moved to Japan and love strolling around the supermarket too and finding new stuff 😊 I think grocery shopping in different countries gives great insight into what the country’s culture is like!
I love the chat at the beginning. I tend to want to skip "Back to School" content (my kids are in 9th and 11th grade, yet I thrive on routine.

I like any kind of organization tips and videos. We are almost empty nesters, but our youngest does still live at home while he is attending tech school. We also have a 3yo grandson, so back to school stuff is still fun!❤

I'm 69 and an empty nester for a long long time, and my life still revolves around September to June - I don't think all those. years of training ever go away. good luck in this school year for you and your kids.
I highly recommend collagen powder for your hair. I’ve had several people at work mention how fast my hair grows. I use it religiously in my coffee everyday. I wait for vital proteins to go on sale at either Costco or Sam’s club and I stock up.
Mine grew fast bf I started using vital proteins but I swear it's growing faster now 😂
Empty nester here and a retired school employee. I still love the back to school season. Back to school feels more like a fresh beginning than New Years to me in a lot of ways
I just saw today on the news that the gentleman who invented these Cookies "Famous Amos" just passed away at age 88. When I saw the box it reminded me. I hope your kids have a wonderful year at school
My special needs son graduated last June but will attend a traditional school in September..so that will keep us busy with taking him to school and home ..
School started today. We now have one in elementary school, one in jr high, and one in high school. This morning was crazy!!
I bet! My 16 yr old started his Jr. year today. I can't believe it!!
When my youngest started kindergarten, I had one in college, one in high school and 2 in elementary 😮. Can't say that I miss those days. Now my baby is starting her 3rd year of college!! 😢

I have granddaughters but I love the back to school content. We take them shopping for school clothes and buy them snacks, etc to take for lunch or enjoy after school. Also it is nice to be back to a schedule.
I love that charcuterie board. This is the smallest haul I've seen you do. Totally understandable about many not at home any longer
I did the same thing with vinegar at Sam's Club. Every time I edited a pickup order and decided not to get vinegar, I put the vinegar in the saved for later area. Each time I did that, it added 1 to the existing count. When I finally decided to buy it, I ended up with 3 boxes, meaning 6 gallons. That was during the pandemic and it's all gone now. Its a good thing to accidentally stock up on.

We have a Papa Vino's Italian Kitchen in Mishawaka, IN. Hmmm, I wonder. I don't eat restaurant food anymore unless it is home made. Not easy to find now days. Love your shopping trips, you tell about a lot of things I don't buy. So fun.😊 thanks!

There was a kiss after the very biggest t 1 in the 1st twister with Helen Hunt & Bill Paxton.almost at the very end. We're they were tied to the well pipe in the farm.

Being in a time of almost age of 60, our home doesn’t do movies. Just been in a battle with health issues and hubby doing chemo treatments, we don’t turn on the Tv, we do everything on iPad or iPhones.

I am an almost empty nester. My last two kids will graduate this year, one at 16 & one at 18. Then they’re off to the working class world! Of course still living at home, but it’s different when they’re out of school! My 28 year old is still home. I love that she’s stayed here, while the other six left the nest.
Kimmy sounds like you may have had a hormone brain. I have PCOS a d that’s how it happens for me during my pms time. Maybe? Also, this hall reminds me of your early halls. I have been watching you for so long and your videos bring me comfort. Especially during the holidays. Thank you for that. Back to school has changed for me. My babies are grown. I am a sorority house chef and now I go back to school in the fall.
I love the shelf organizer. I bought 2 and it really helps organize my pantry. I ended up with more space. I hope they have more so I can get a few more. Love your vlog

We are empty nesters , with 5 grandkids , I still take most of them school clothes shopping , and I help shuttle some to activities thru the summer now that I’m retired , summer went fast 😊

Ms. Kimmy, did you ever watch the original one with Helen Hunt? Also, don't watch the documentary of the Joplin tornado. I learned about it through her the Style Blog, she lost her brother in it, and never really recovered emotionally. I'm in central OH, we've never had a bad tornado, but it's always possible. The sirens are tested on Wednesdays at noon.

I love back to school. My youngest is a junior this year. But we’re hosting a foreign exchange student this semester so we’ll also have a senior.
My husband and I went with my 12 year old to see twister. I appreciated that they didn't kiss. It was nice to see that it wasn't necessary to get the point across. Although I know she did some smooching in the beginning of the movie.

My youngest always gets the pizza combo at Sam's. She started back to school on August 7th. She gets up at 4:30-5:00 in the morning in order to do her hair.

The weather in Utah has been crazy this week! We were at Lagoon on Tuesday when the storms came over. I could not believe the flooding in Utah County, yikes!!! 😮😮
LOVE Papa Gino’s plain cheese pizza! It’s such a bummer because most of them have closed down now. I am an empty nester and still love routine. Every August my internal clock goes off and I still think I need to get kids ready for school lol
Famous Amos cookies😋🤤 favorite snacks cookie. It was my mothers too. R.I.P to Mr. Wally Amos. He passed away less than 2 weeks ago.

We were in Kansas few months ago my husband wants to watch twister when we were out there but didn't though. Didn't even see any tornado while we were on that trip. My daughter did she is 6 she went out to Kansas for the first time with grandparents an my husband was watching the news the whole week he keep saying did we do the right thing it tornado season in May an June in Kansas.

Only have 1 that's school age, and back to school is like a forced routine that I can't wait to get back to. I'd sleep to noon and stay up all night if I didn't have something outside of myself to keep me on schedule. And I love all the school supplies, the kiddo couldn't care less. The new things, the patterns on the stuff, that smell.
