Avocado export earnings in Tanzania to hit $50 million annually

Tanzania's agricultural ministry is projecting that earnings from avocado exports will reach almost $50 million annually by 2023...up from just over $30 million currently.

Just so you know the Kenyan Avocado most come from Tanzania and there get repacked, labeled and sold out from Kenya as if was produced in Kenya. Also, Tanzania exports tones of Avocado to South Africa, just do some research. For those reasons, Tanzania is #2 if not #1 in Avocado producer in Africa and will be revealed the day she will stop exporting unparked and processed Avocado to Kenya and South Africa. There is no way Kenya has more fruits than Tanzania, NO WAY, and even Kenyans know that. And more evidence is the massive trucks in all borders TZ -Kenya that are always full of produce from Tanzania to Kenya. Just visit Namanga border to see it by yourself.

Thats true and even onions the best and quality onions are from tanzania they are transported to kenya repacked and sold abroad the only problem is our laws are not freandly most exporters from tanzania are huge campanies with huge revenew not small companies unlike kenyans. I have done enough reserch about this
