Thank you for this! I couldn't find the free countdown timer either but I clicked to create a video and then went to templates and searched "countdown timer minutes." One of the first free ones that popped up was called "webinar countdown timer." There's another one called "Blue Modern Webinar Countdown Timer." If you take either of those and edit out the bits you don't want, you have the 10 minute timer. It's against a black band, so if you like you can even delete that and just have it in the black box. I had trouble reducing the length to what I wanted, because the interface looks different. Got it eventually! Again, thank you!
To find the timers, try searching under the DESIGN tab on the top left (and then Templates). If you search for them under the Elements tab, they don't seem to show up. This could change of course.

I’m trying to find the 10 minute timer you used in your example. It seems like I can only find up to 60seconds in my library. I do have the pro account. I wonder if they’ve removed that one. That would be perfect for my presentations.

I had zero experience with Canvas or Canva and my new employer did not offer training. So thank you for you excellent tutorials! A larger timer? Search Canva for timers and you can find all kinds large small, long or short. You can edit the size and length too.
