You have no clue how much I trust you when you talk. Not only you explain everything in a very clear and simple way, but yoyt tone is always kind even if slightly fast, very little, which I understand because you pack a lot of info in whatever time you have. But still it's super understandble and I always trust you to teach me something. It's obviously your way of being, the way you are and talk that made this connection with me. Holy cow! I had been working with a more complicated video editor that was very challenging. It was demotivating me to continue and affected my enthusiasm. This seems like Canva’s video editor requires less technical ability. I do have a Canva upgraded account so I appreciate this tutorial very much. The fact that I have access to so many fonts is amazing (the other editor had so few). OMG this is a game changer for me as it will make the video editing more fun.

Great video, just a heads up regarding adding a background to a text block, there's no need to drag and drop a rectangle graphic. Simply select the text block, click on the 'effects' option on the top bar, they have an option called 'background' which automatically adds a background to your text block that you can also fully customise :)

I've been using Screencast-o-matic to record and edit my videos, but was feeling so limited after seeing what other youtubers were doing with their videos. I love how you break everything down, but I do have a question. Whenever I'm making a video with 1 consecutive video (Ocean waves, flowing streams, etc) and try to split it into sections to add different texts, it always glitches with either an overlap or gap between the sections to where you can see it glitch or jump forward at each text change. It's not one, smooth flowing video with text popups and it ruins the effect. Do you have any advice or tips that could help me avoid that?
Hi Justin, really loved this video. Is there a maximum font size for a lyric video or is it fine as long as it fits within the 1920 x 1080 video template? My font size for text is around 50 -55 depending on the number of words. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for this series of videos. As a new user of Canva, I also use Canva's Dream Sound app when making videos. The sound effects generated by this app are simply studio-level, which is incredible.
You explain so well friend !!! I really thought after your video I’d have this down “however” just as most other videos watched 😭I hit the same brick wall! All goes well following you step by step until you say (double right click & hit delete key” ) Im working from an iPad which has no mouse nor key board. I understand getting around this for most is common knowledge. But for us beginners not so tech savvy it’s soooo frustrating trying to learn how to’s on iPads when most videos don’t include the alternative option / steps to include selecting on our devices. Can’t tell you how many videos I go threw always ending w/ this same problem. I can’t be alone here I know there’s others splattered stuck on this brick wall w/me! “Please”….please kind Sir help out the iPad masses silently suffering in desperation trying to learn 😉 & consider including iPad info into future videos🙋♀️ Thanks love you man

Hi Justin. Love your work guy. Quick question regarding copyrights. If I have a pro account, can I add any of the Canva videos from the video library to my own TH-cam videos (mainly as B-rolls) without worrying about legal claims? If yes, is it set in stone or can Canva Change the rules at a later date? Many thanks
I had the same question Luc. Canva does have great video clips in Canva Pro.

I love how you break everything down, but I do have a question. Whenever I'm making a video with 1 consecutive video (Ocean waves, flowing streams, etc) and try to split it into sections to add different texts, it always glitches with either an overlap or gap between the sections to where you can see it glitch or jump forward at each text change. It's not one, smooth flowing video with text popups and it ruins the effect. Do you have any advice or tips that could help me avoid that?

Hi Justin, really loved this video. Is there a maximum font size for a lyric video or is it fine as long as it fits within the 1920 x 1080 video template? My font size for text is around 50 -55 depending on the number of words. Thanks in advance.

You explain so well friend !!! I really thought after your video I’d have this down “however” just as most other videos watched 😭I hit the same brick wall! All goes well following you step by step until you say (double right click & hit delete key” ) Im working from an iPad which has no mouse nor key board. I understand getting around this for most is common knowledge. But for us beginners not so tech savvy it’s soooo frustrating trying to learn how to’s on iPads when most videos don’t include the alternative option / steps to include selecting on our devices. Can’t tell you how many videos I go threw always ending w/ this same problem. I can’t be alone here I know there’s others splattered stuck on this brick wall w/me! “Please”….please kind Sir help out the iPad masses silently suffering in desperation trying to learn 😉 & consider including iPad info into future videos🙋♀️ Thanks love you man
