My gas pedal in my 89 was sticking so I took the butterfly valve out of the throttle body because we were able to see it was getting stuck and I sanded the sides down a little and it doesnt stick anymore.
that car is so damn cool dude, but damn, your eyes were as big as saucers when that throttle stuck, lol. glad it was only for a second.

Car is moving. And spinning them drag radials like nothing. Wait until you put the 347. But you need bigger port volume heads. Get some Trickflow 11R 190 CC. Or Trickflow Twisted Wedge 205 CC heads. To work with the Trickflow cam. And get a Trickflow R box upper R lower. And it is going to make way more power.

I love that car and it's turbo noises! Thing looks like it rips real good. Gotta thrash on them now and again. I definitely drive mine very spiritedly. It's when I enjoy it the most. Sliding it sideways and burning off some tire are always some of my best times.

Noticed the speedometer not working haha same thing is happening for mine (new speedo cable in stalled and new speed sensor, I will change the gear on the sensor next) otherwise what’s my next steps? When I spin the speedo by hand it moves the gauge but once installed nothing. Thanks! Keep the videos coming!

What is the valve size on those SVE heads? I had a throutle cable sticking issue on mine and the cable was stretched. Replacing cable fixed the problem

That bad boy is running! How does it stop on the new 4.5” wide SVE drag wheels? You just have stock discs up front and drums in the rear? I’d love this wheel set up for my 87’, but I’m concerned about handling and stopping on the skinny front wheels since mine is primarily street driven. I have only planned to upgrade the rotors and pads so far, subject to change...
