Missed this episode (and the two members only episodes this week) due to travel (again - sensing a theme). Joe Simon is interred in a US National Cemetery. Generally, any information not directly relevant to the deceased's service is left off the grave marker.
There are Marvel movies now? Who'd a thunk it..... I suspect that Red Hulk's first appearance will be hot for just as long as the movie is around, then it will fall back to regular pricing like so many other "hot" books before it. Richard, if a guy stands in the sun with that Ghost Rider comic, then rushes to the bathroom and closes the door and Mom in the kitchen hears gasps of wonder, she's going to yell, "I hope you're not doing anything dirty in there!". Giant-Size Avengers #1: first appearance of Miss America since 1948. Not much of a return however as she dies in this story. Thanks for highlighting Marvel's Giant-Size books, some great stories (and some very important to certain titles' continuity) but often neglected by modern fans.
Great show as always team; on Richards Secret Wars #1 2nd print, if you open it, n addition to the Black Spidey logo on cover you may find that Galactus is corrctly printed rather than the blue error in the 1st.print.
I remember the other one Richard brought up it was X-men 163 Kitty Pride scratched up and cornered by the Brood It does seem like Kitty is always getting attacked by something alien looking 😅 What are your thoughts on Lady Blackhawk? I don’t own anything Blackhawk but I thought about starting with her appearance is it a good place to start?
It never ceases to amaze me how fans forget why Sam Wilson got his wings. He specifically said he didn't want to be a second-rate Captain America and didn't want to be identified as such. That's why he directly wanted the Black Panther to make his wings. Sam had no desire to be Cap or a poor imitation as such. He's no Cap but a great Falcon. As far as Femforce, the fact that you said they STILL publish comics dropped my jaw to the ground. I had NO idea. Looks like I'm gonna have to do my eBay search. Thanks for the show.

I recently picked up Fem Force 32 and 14. In my opinion the best covers in the run.
Too bad nobody ever made a Giant-Size Blackhawk!
I think they are all giant size 😅
Femforce is actually pretty good. Give it a shot.
...ever check out BlackOut comics?... 90's craze for sure but some good artists, and decent stories (OutBreed = District 9 prelude)... etc.
I didn’t even realise that there was a new Marvel movie on the horizon. Wow. Not sure how I missed the memo. 🤔

Great show - caught the rewind! I too have a copy of PreTeen Dirty Gene Kung Fu Kangaroos! 😂
THANK YOU guys. Thank You!!!!
Ya y’all talked about that X-men book a couple of months ago and it’s obvious similarities to the alien movie
John do you remember the FEMZINE by Bill Black ? Those books can be very pricey
Happy Monday Funday!!!!
Roy Thomas is a punk.
I used to love Harrison Ford, but now I cannot stand him. The Disney Star Wars and the last two Indiana Jones movies have just ruined him for me.
