With the absence of BM, Judge took this opportunity to take Ichiji and NIji back as they wer captured by the kids of Big Mom. Ceasar was still in WCI by that time and formed an alliance with Judge . Ceasar released a gas that makes people hallucinate. As a result, Katakuri and Oven who inhaled the gas fought against each other which makes Cracker as the only BM commander to protect the other side of the island. And as you can see, Cracker was defeated by Van Auger and Aokiji. These events are only shown in the cover pages and I don't think they'll ever be animated.

yeah im no longer on the "kuzan is still secretly working for the marines" theory after his actions in the egghead arc. he definitely does not morally agree with blackbeard but i think he is truly in complete opposition to the world government and marines and wants to see them destroyed. my only question if that is the case is: why not join the revolutionary army, whose one and only goal is the destruction and replacement of the world government? the blackbeard pirates are vicious, murdering criminals and did not openly plan to overthrow the world government by the time kuzan left the marines, so im not sure why he would pick them over the revs. plus dragon, sabo, koala, hack, ivankov, inazuma, and kuma all have positive connections with members of the straw hats (namely robin), while blackbeard is openly their enemy and caused one of them to lose his brother and will inevitably clash with them which could lead to more deaths (namely robin's!), so idk. kuzan's such an interesting wild card right now.

Don't forget that Blackbeard wasn't active as a captain until shortly before Marineford. So he's counted as being part of the same generation of pirates as Luffy and the Supernova. Back when Vincent Chansard said that his One Piece contract was over my heart sank but there was still hope because he said that he was willing to go back to One Piece if they wanted him and I’m glad they got him back for this episode.
It's a shame they didn't adapt the manga's cover stories....basically Germa allied with Cesar in Hole Cake, causing a mess to escape and while Katakuri (still a little injured) and Oven were having problems with the gas, the black beard pirates attacked the island, going after Pudding, taking advantage of the confusion and Bigmon being out Law has an incredible look but he is a woman. Dude, it's something else. I would pay Oda to make Zoro affected by this virus just to see Sanji break for good!

So yeah, it was kind of a "blink and you'll miss it" comment from Big Mom in WCI but apparently, members of the three-eyes tribe like Pudding can awaken a power that allows them to read anything, which is why Blackkbeard had her kidnapped, so she can translate the Road Poneglyphs once he's stolen them.

We're finally getting to see first hand how friking strong the Gura Gura no mi actually is. WB at Marineford did pop off with it, but seeing BB almost destroy the infrastructure of an entire island by just moving his hand shows you why it was called "The power capable of destroying the world".
The Supernovas are the Pirates who got over 100,000,000 bounty before they entered the New World, and that includes the 11 of the Worst Generation who met at Sabaody, as well as Cavendish, Bartolomeo, and a few others. The Worst Generation is a group of pirates who gained notoriety right around the Marineford War, which are the 11 Sabaody Supernovas and Blackbeard. You didn't realize Blackbeard was apart of the Worst Generation because when they originally explain the "Supernovas," he isn't in that group. But the Worst Generation is a different classification that includes him. I had the same confusion before
the Kuzan Vs Cracker fight is actually part of the WCI aftermath cover storyline in the manga. im surprised they only animated this part and not the whole thing since its very relevant and crucial to the story
When Big Mom and Kaido allied in Wano, Kaido asked Big Mom if Pudding could already read the Poneglyphs, to which Big Mom replied that she hadn't awakened that ability yet. Someone must have informed Blackbeard about it, leading him to kidnap her.
Just to clear up the confusion on the whole worst generation question at 7:45, originally it was the 11 supernovas that they showed on Sabaody but then once Blackbeard became a warlord they added him into it and started calling them the Worst Generation because all of them together are the greatest threat to the balance of powers in the one piece world
Thank you for the reaction! There is a theory in community that since Blackbeard's crew's fruits are what all of them wanted to be (since Teach has encyclopedia of fruits) their team will be most proficient in devil fruits power and probably will have the most of its members awakened
I can’t remember the whole story, but the reason why Katakuri wasn’t there to prevent Pudding’s capture had something to do with Cesar. Because of that, there are theories that when Luffy and Blackbeard finally clash Katakuri (and maybe Oven and Daifugu) will team up with Luffy to rescue Pudding.
idk if you remember but if you think back way back into the whole cake island arc, big mom said at one point pudding had the potential to be able to read poneglyphs due to her third eye
The other commenters have already informed you on the three eyed tribe and BB's reasons for kidnapping Pudding so I won't repeat that. I just also want to remind you that Pudding's devil fruit abilities were kept secret from everyone except her family, so Blackbeard definitely wouldn't have known about them until after he kidnapped her, and potentially still might not know since Pudding could be keeping them a secret until she has a good chance to use them.
I told you it will be a surprise especially female Law 😂. Raising your expectation again... This is not the end of Law vs BB fight, you'll get more and you'll be surprise again.

The Supernovas are the Pirates who got over 100,000,000 bounty before they entered the New World, and that includes the 11 of the Worst Generation who met at Sabaody, as well as Cavendish, Bartolomeo, and a few others. The Worst Generation is a group of pirates who gained notoriety right around the Marineford War, which are the 11 Sabaody Supernovas and Blackbeard. You didn't realize Blackbeard was apart of the Worst Generation because when they originally explain the "Supernovas," he isn't in that group. But the Worst Generation is a different classification that includes him. I had the same confusion before

When Big Mom and Kaido allied in Wano, Kaido asked Big Mom if Pudding could already read the Poneglyphs, to which Big Mom replied that she hadn't awakened that ability yet. Someone must have informed Blackbeard about it, leading him to kidnap her.
Just to clear up the confusion on the whole worst generation question at 7:45, originally it was the 11 supernovas that they showed on Sabaody but then once Blackbeard became a warlord they added him into it and started calling them the Worst Generation because all of them together are the greatest threat to the balance of powers in the one piece world

I can’t remember the whole story, but the reason why Katakuri wasn’t there to prevent Pudding’s capture had something to do with Cesar. Because of that, there are theories that when Luffy and Blackbeard finally clash Katakuri (and maybe Oven and Daifugu) will team up with Luffy to rescue Pudding.

I just also want to remind you that Pudding's devil fruit abilities were kept secret from everyone except her family, so Blackbeard definitely wouldn't have known about them until after he kidnapped her, and potentially still might not know since Pudding could be keeping them a secret until she has a good chance to use them.
