It's simple, really. Most people have never heard of ACG or most other YT critics who are better than IGN, but they all have heard of IGN.

personally if im interested in a game ill watch pretty much every review i can, and form my opinion based on all the info :) just picking one persons opinion is a bit limiting :)
I watch ign amongst others because i like to go for several opinions. But some may feel that lengthy reviews are just a long ramble where as shorter ones get to the point. Its good to have a mixture.

Your review - as always - super informative and well put together! The one issue I have (from a video editing standpoint) is the visual transitions from subject to subject, sometimes I'm surprised when you move onto a new focus since there aren't any visual indicators on screen..

Honestly, haven't noticed the issue with audio until re-watched the last video.
Perfect review though, after playing Strange Brigade for awhile we cant find anything to add. Keep it up Karak!

got this game key free with my rx580, just built my first gaming pc and I'm kinda ass when it comes to keyboard and mouse. Which do you prefer when it comes down to enjoyment of the controls?

Hey Karak, I hope you'll be getting the new Star Control: Origins to review? I think you're probably old enough to have played the original Star Control 2, and if so know it was on many top 100 games lists near the top for more than a decade. The remake looks like it'll really be taking all the best features of the original.
Stupid question, but can I pick whichever character I want in online co-op? Or is this one of those "one of each" games, where we can only have one of each character at any one time? I would much prefer if I could stick to my favorite character(s) online.
You can pick who ever you want in horde mode. Never tried in campaign coop but i dont see why not
How does it run on Switch?
I was never a big fan of Doom's Nightmare mode...it's cool for a test to see how good you are in combat chess where everything just works and there's no guesswork but when enemies spawn in so random that it's right behind you, short dagger in the back close, that's not good lol I respect Doom's nightmare mode but its not my fave, I usually play ultra Violence in the classic games just saying

Yeah this looks like a 30 dollar game but if there is tons of content then its worth it.
I'm definitely happy I got it, so far lots of fun and will probably keep me very entertained until BFV and Red Dead.
I think it all depends on if youll play the co op side of it aswell since thats how youll get the most out of it. If youre playing just single player then its probably best to wait for a price drop.
Eathfall or vermintide 2 seem like better coop experiences for less money.
Wait for a sale.
There will also be dlc for this game which will add content. Id say wait for a sale and if youre really patient wait for a complete edition. You could always pick up zombie army trilogy in the mean time.

You know this doesn’t look bad but I’m not sure about $50 I kind of thought originally while watching the review that it was going to be like a 30 dollar game! But if there’s a load of content then maybe it’s worth but I’ll probably wait for a bit. I know this is definitely aimed for a multiple people but is playing it alone worth trying?
I'm really liking it but waiting for a sale isnt a terrible idea. It's more fun to coop but loot is first come first served and it makes you want to play alone to ensure you get gun upgrades.

It really looks like a boring 2009 TPP shooter, except it doesnt restrict its color pallet to 3 shades of brown lol.

the whole thing about dudes popping out of every nook and cranny... how the hell did this get through the QA analysts? I mean, was it not a priority? spawn locations/frequency/proximity to the character. BASIC stuff c'mon...
Once more a great review of a game that looks a bit meh to me. However, every time I hear "... that's not two minutes long ..." I wonder if that's a good or a bad thing. I mean, sometimes I *would* prefer a first-impressions video to be 2 rather than 14 minutes.
