Can you tell me what the purpose of the fry block is? The bottom agitator of my Kenmore is not moving only the top auger part moves. So would I need to replace the dry block?
OK guys this video reminds me of the old Haynes car repair manuals. They would say "remove XYZ". Well not kidding the reason I'm reading the manual it to determine how to remove XYZ. In this case XYZ is the translucent cover that's glued on. HOW THE HECK TO YOU REMOVE IT? After that the rest my 10 year old granddaughter could do.
I just removed an agitator this exact style it is as easy as this video describes you place your finger tips under the rim of the agitator edges and pull toward your chest it comes right off that block 👍
Actually, the first step in getting the agitator up and out is easy...just loop a belt underneath it and pull up on both belt ends, and it pops right off, watch it doesn't hit you in the face.
Too bad mine is stuck like its welded and wont come out after pulling smacking, beating, and using a hammer and screwdriver to tear part of it apart...its STILL on there. Im gonna be out over 150 bux on a repairman for a 20 year old washer that I could fix for $15 if that sob part would come out. Man Im mad at it.
I call bs. The only agitator that needs replacement is one that has been on for many years and it will take a lot of work to remove what he simply just picks out of the drum. I don't know how these kind of videos help anyone but the publisher.
Thank you! This video was so helpful. Even for someone who has never worked on a washer before.
Thank you you were the only one with the same washer
1:10 what the heck??
They don’t show the agitator removal bruh
And that's what I'm having trouble with
Y’all need to redo this video, even if this guy is dead or not

Can you replace the dogs on the agitator or must replace the agitator altogether? Thanks,
thank you your the best help ever
Glad it was helpful!
How do we know when that needs replacing what are the signs?
No agitating
Indeed be careful it doesn’t hit you in the face. The good news is the doctor says I’m healing nicely!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈
