- Months of meticulous planning culminated in a safe and spectacular blowdown today at the Cottam site!
The coordinated blowdowns of DA Bay, Bunker Bay, Turbine Hall, and Coal Conveyor were executed flawlessly, marking a significant milestone, not forgetting to mention the CEO of the NFDC Duncan Rudall who ignited the fantastic blast.
Well done to the entire team for their dedication and expertise!

Not me, although I do agree they are good at what they do(and i love watching controlled explosions). But this is the 2nd of their videos I've found, and what I'm seeing here is a source of inexpensive, reliable energy being destroyed, probably in favor of the much more expensive, unreliable windmills and solar. There was another video of these guys demolishing an enormous old AMC auto production factory in Kenosha. What we are watching here, is the demolition of this country, one factory and one power plant at a time.
The politicians and billionaires pushing for "clean energy to save the environment", are the same people who sent almost our entire industrial sector to China and other environmentally irresponsible countries, where they are pumping out vastly more pollution and CO2 than they ever did when they operated here in America.
Al Gore, Clinton, Obama and Biden KNEW that would happen, but they made it happen anyway! Now they want to destroy what's left of our industrial sector, allegedly to "protect the environment". In reality, they are just weakening us, emboldening and strengthening our enemies, and destroying the environment in the process.

@@HighlanderNorth1 The plant was on it's last legs. Designed to operate for 30 years and operated for 50 instead, West Burton was the same, it was far more expensive to keep them open and would have been unsafe to do so.

THe people involved with this wanton destruction will hopefully live long enough to regret it. Right at the top of this resides demons, lesser demons and sub humans.
The plant was on its way out, same with West Burton and High Marnham before it. Whether or not you think coal is a good source of energy keeping older plants open is simply dangerous and uneconomical (especially when they're so expensive to continue running, I believe it cost 400mil to keep West Burton going for another 6 months though this could be completely wrong as I've not found a source in my quick google search)
