Elmer Smith Station Chimneys - Controlled Demolition, Inc.

Controlled Demolition, Inc. (CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to National Salvage and Service Corporation (NSSC) of Clear Creek, Indiana) performs the planning for/layout of preparations and executed the successful explosives felling of one (1), 650’ concrete chimney and one (1), 419’ concrete chimney (with internal, free-standing 120’-6” concrete pedestal) located at the Elmer Smith Station in Owensboro, Kentucky on December 4, 2022.
