Hi Manish! Administrative fees are very individual thing and they should be always provided in the rental ad. As for the contract, we talk about it in details in another video: Tenancy Laws in Poland, it's highly recommended. As for the shared apartment: it depends on the landlord, but normally it's ok. Unless you want to rent a room in student's dormitory. Hope it help! :)

What is the administrative fee exactly!! When the Ad says the monthly rental is 1200pln + 300pln administrative fees, does that mean the monthly rental is 1500? Or the 300 is only added for the first month?
Hi there! Yes, in this case it'd be 1500. The administrative fee is a fee paid to the building administration and it's a monthly cost you have to add to your total rental spending. It's usually shown as a separate value, as this is the fee that doesn't depend on your landlord as it's not their rental income. Hope this explanation helps! 🙂

The university recommended the base camp, even though it looks neat in the photos, and the location is great, but 1200pln for a small single room seems a little expensive. Can I find a studio unit near the city center with a budget of 1000pln? I would appreciate it if you could give me any suggestions or recommendations

To be honest, the reasonable standard studio apartment starts from around 1500 pln + utilities. 1000 pln is the budget for a room in a shared apartment. Thus, BaseCamp seems like a fair price. it's so personal issue! If 2-room is 1-bedroom actually, 1 person or a couple will live ideally. If every room is independent bedroom, it can be shared. But every person has different needs

Hi! We did a research on the most popular websites and the prices for the studio flat start from 1300 PLN and for a one bedroom apartment from 1700 PLN, then you have to add the utilities costs. Of course the price depends on a standard of the flat and its location.
