He did the perfect Duncan MacLeod!!!!!! Better than the other actor that started the movie that made all of this happen!!!!!! He did what he was supposed to!!! I don't think he would have made a good James Bond at all! I am definitely not doubting his acting skills he's a amazing actor!!! It's his looks and smile that seems incompatible to a James Bond to me! N I t the he could not do the job ! He could and most likely very very well!! It's his beautiful smile that makes me think not a James Bond! Idk just my thoughts on that!!!

The “Gathering” makes a lot more sense. There were immortals killed over the years, but in the ‘90s when the show was made, they started dropping like flies. I’m not sure that was intentional from the writers. But it locks in step nicely with the original movie’s intent.
Jason Q wasnt there some line somewhere said. That one day immortals would get the urge to travel to a far away land when the time of the gathering came

Congrats on a difficult and time consuming job. The series had not intended a linear timeline. Surprisingly it is fairly coherent (the time line).

Great series! Fiction based on fact. Some discrepancies, however, very enjoyable. Lots of laughs and lots of sad parts.
Yeah, a lot of people abandoned this show after what happened to Richie. The post series films were just plain odd.
Duncan and Fitz now that's an iconic duo. Having see the four parts of your Life of Duncan MacLeod and seen few others clips of Highlander (Franchise). I left myself what the show could have been if everything were tied up nicely.
Let's say aside from Highlander II and The Source.
How would you envision the franchise if every stories were in a single cohesive timeline ?
Me for example I would put Colin as a true MacLeod members and the first of the clan. Followed by Owen where I would tale his story followed with Connor, Duncan and finally Quentin. I'll try to find a reason that even though Colin was born a Roman his familly roman name will birth the clan MacLeod.
I'll change the fact that Immortal can have children before their first death but after their first death they can reproduce anymore.
I'll replace Connor by Duncan facing Kortan. I'll try to tale each MacLeod stories as kind of a Saga. Each Saga blending into the other Colin serving as a mentor for Owen then him to Connor etc etc...
But I don't forget about Jamirez that will still be influential on Connor life and his fight against Kurgan.
I'll keep the idea of the watchers. I'll end the whole story in the wake of the 22nd century. Quentin being elected the sole winner of the Gathering. And of course erase all inconsistencies there may be possible to have to my story.
Oh and last but not least. Judging by our tech in the 21st Century I would not make late 21st Century look too fancy also. Something in between Solar/Nuclear Punk but realistic of course.
I have a suggestion it would be nice to see Duncan with the ability to use his imortal blood to heal due to the fact that he has gained so many other imortal power. Lol just a thought. Love the series can't get enough. WOW!!! Great series

Yes, he'd be a great James Bond. Perfect had he done it right after this series. My fantasy James Bond plot, would be bonds illegitimate son popping up. Perhaps a son he unknowingly fathered with Miss Moneypenny. On a long anticipated one night stand. But, not knowing for a while , he takes him under his wing, for the soul purpose of being his replacement. Let's face it , not even Bond can play Spy Vs Spy gripping the handles of a walker. Lol I've had a few minor injuries in younger days, that seemed to be gone forever. But now in my old age, they've come back to haunt me. Could you imagine what bonds skeletal frame would look like in an full body xray ? Like a jig saw puzzle, where few of the peices match. Just me but i always thought that bringing the old Sean Connery back in a plot where he met an unknown child would be kool . And hey, lets not forget the ladies, maybe his spy replacement could be Daughter? Sorry i got off track with the bond thing. I'm just saying ! LOL 😅
Great movie loved it very nice creative writing a lot of imagination and thought put into the storyline wonderful pick of characters now if only someone was as creative into today's movie's. I find today's movie's like any imagination what so ever no creative writing just there boreing remake of someone from times lost creativity.
2 mins into this part of the series and we learn that any Italian can fire 5-8 rounds from a 2 barrel shotgun. Truly there can be only 34 million.

I would like to know where they get their swords at times. I have seen them walk into a room with no way to hide a sword and yet all of a sudden they have a sword in their hand is that part of being an immortal they just magically appear when they need them?
Amanda supposedly taught Duncan how to hide his sword in the folds of his clothes. At least he said that in one show.

I don't think the Germans used WW2 Helmets in WW1, so somebody was not doing their homework. Also on the revival of the immortals, isn't the thing that is causing them harm such as a stake through the heart...doesn't that have to be removed first? I seem to recall that and yet the Vampire episode, the guy got up while the stake was driven through his heart? The writers are breaking the rules on the story. I mean they were following that line of thinking when the bodies in the water were put face up instead of face down.@1:13:05 Gees you killed him. There's also a flaw in this one with St. Cloud. He didn't recognize McCleod when obviously they had met in North Africa. However they can make the argument that St. Cloud didn't recognize him through the gas mask and McCleod was upside down and had a mustache.
Duncan gets about. 1917 in French uniform, 1918 in British uniform, 1919 Soviet Russia, 1920 back in Europe in a Tux. ?
That's a reasonable assumption for not recognizing Macleod. Lots of visibility issues

My question is How did all of these People became Immortals,? They never tell you etc.
The only thing we know is that they are all foundlings. None of them were actually born to their parents, their parents randomly found them as an infant.
Why does the sun come up? Or are the stars just pin holes in the curtain of night, who knows? What I do know is that because you were born different, men will fear you... try to drive you away like the people of your village.
They have to experienced a violent death that first death trigger's them being immortal they wake up from that first death and then they continue their after then they only way they can do is if their head comes off and of course a varies from immortal to a mortal how they died that first death but if they don't die violently they can grow old and die of natural causesthere's been there's been several story lines and part of Highlander part 4 we're immortals have been turned by other immortals and didn't give them the opportunity to decide for themselves and it came back to bite them in the ass later on down the line

The one thing I noticed now that i didnt notice before when they first aired, is the fact that the director cant seem to count when it comes to shooting scenes....
For example when that italian shop owner was killed by the black hand.... they used shot guns that seem to fire 5 or 6 times without reloading, even though those shot buns at the time couldnt do that.
Still can't as they were double barreled shotguns!
