I was too young to remember our last win. Hearing about the 87 and 91 teams from my parents makes me hope I can look back at this team like that with my future kids.

Like you said, they were only gifted a wild card spot by relying on another team to lose and basically acted like they won the World Series. Last year, they were almost guaranteeing victory and then got bounced in two games. The Blue Jays: Gausman struggles the most against the Twins, it's his worst match up and they never chase his pitches. Also the Blue Jays: So we're starting Gausman and having him throw outside the zone exclusively to get them to chase! I love Gausman, hes my favourite to watch, but clearly he has a bad matchup vs the Twins and it got in his head, why start him over Bassitt? He still managed to pitch well only giving up 3 from HRs, but I'm really unhappy and worried about these decisions made by the Management.
His issue in this game was that his pitches weren't close enough to chase, fastball 6 inches off the plate regularly, and splitter bouncing in, not hard to lay off it.

As a Blue Jays fan, I was disapppointed with the result, but hats off to the Twins for ending their eighteen-game Postseason losing streak. They earned that win and worked hard for it despite the injuries. Now they need to finish the job tomorrow. As for Toronto, it's win or go home. Is this double déjà vu for them? What can the Blue Jays do to save their season? What can Minnesota do to take down Toronto?
The volume of the crowd's roar for something as a simple wild card game one win was so amazing. It meant so much more.

Definitely not an easy play, he was off balance, if Bo didn't slow coming to third he would have made it. Liked the aggressive play
