You are very lucky, living the life. Ive always wanted to cycle around japan and only japan, it is the ultimate form of travelling. Hope i can afford it someday.
Some gorgeous views on that ride Cruise. Once Spring kicks in here I'll be out more. Hopefully with the right restrictions we're under at the moment eased. I really need some longer rides, restricted to 1 hour of exercise outdoors at the moment.
Wonderful. Love the sound of Black Beauty (2:38 on). Better than any supercar anyday. Question: are those lines overhead for electricity or are they just phone lines? Keep up the good work Cruise and stay safe.
Wow that's a pretty ride. Glad to be looking at it in air conditioning LOL. I probably would have used a mountain bike considering the roads and sand but I doubt I could do a century with it.
I really enjoyed with that video. Nice to see Japan. That part of Japan that TV programs don't show. And Im surprised because my impression, is that roads are dangerous and same with the traffic. Amounts of cars And surprised to see a japanese who speaks english 😂😂!!! great!!! Hope to see new vids like this one. It would be a dream to do that route with you both...
A Dodge Challenger at 19:09 huh I wonder if you don't bat an eye at it as these cars were dime a dozen back home. I'll hazard a guess and say that they're probably quite uncommon in Japan; this is the first 'Murrcan muscle land boat I've seen in your videos!
Great Video as I am from the landlocked country enjoy the ocean. Never done 100 miles , longest was 120km (75 miles). Our hottest trip was from Umag (Croatia) to Piran (Slovenia) , 60km return trip but we had 38 °C .
This must be the most tiring ride in a while after the Zwift races! Keep up the great spirit :D I enjoyed the sea scenery tho. Looked like it came out of an anime lol
Hi Cruise - great video like always. I’ve always been wondering how your camera is always so still even after going over bumps. Is there some sort of a camera stabiliser you’re using? What’s the secret? Thanks
That was too close at 23m mark, driver would’ve got $100 fine and demerits points against their ICBC insurance for not having 1 meter rule when passing here in Vancouver. Hope u will have part 2 including the ferry and islands hopping one day. Ha
Love the videos, keep them going. Somewhat off topic question, and you probably get this question asked all the time… How are you coping with earthquakes? Is it true that they occur on a frequent basis, in Japan? Have you experience one while riding? If so, how did it feel? I have lived in California all my life. I am no stranger to earthquakes. When I experience them, I can guess the magnitude somewhat accurate. Most of which are benign. (Although, I’ve never experienced one while cycling).
Hey Cruise San. I noticed you’re using the wahoo element roam. I just bought my wahoo and kinda not used to it yet. I have some trouble figuring the maps because I can’t update it in the Chubu Region (I’m also living in the region). It says not enough memory every time I try to sync it. 😂
5:13 may i ask how you go from chest mount to those shots right there? do you just unclip the gopro buckle from the chest mount while riding? if so, have you ever dropped it?
What a great video, shame about the lack of Thuong. I have never understood the aversion of oriental people towards the sun and tanning. The sun is an excellent anti-inflammatory and is good for the body and bones. At the end of the video Hiroki shows us his tan. It made me laugh too much 😆 Let's wait for the rest of the video, some hill climbs just to do some stretching!!! 🚲 Greetings from Sardinia (Italy) 💚🤍💗
Cruise, how do you think about the chamois after this long ride? I am considering buying their kits (breathability is critical in Texas heat). I am debating on the shorts since my weekend rides are longer and I need some good chamois.
It felt comfortable the entire ride. The Jersey is breathable, but not like a summer specific Jersey. Check out my video where I introduce the kit material up close. Santic does have some other summer specific wear though I believe
THe roads are just too narrow for two way traffic, doesn't leave too much space to maneuver during high volume traffic! it's the same problem in UK, with narrow road and Uber and Waze created traffic on every B-road!
I know this tour from before, thanks a lot, wish I could make this bikingtour with you however thanks to Covid-19 it's impossible ! Kind regards from The Netherlands.
How many kilometers do you take a break to eat, etc ? I rest after 25-30 kilometers of driving ( I smoke a cigarette and eat an energy bar. Ahaha ! ). Wonderful video ! Bravo !
@Funkilla I'd be dying so I guess some sweat will not make too much difference XD I'm used to the heat tbh where I live it hits 40°c all the time but humidity is below 10% so it's bearable. I'm not good with humidity at all!
Good to see Hiroki on the channel again, such a fun and positive guy
Always fun when he's around
I miss Thoung’s repeating “let’s go” 😄
Hiroki did his best haha
Hiroki really taking in the view at 16:13 😏😂
😂😂😂
I would never have thought that Japan had hot busy summer beaches. Thanks for sharing
3 cheers for Hiroki... Always in great shape...
This is really great, the beach the narrow alley road the life you capture is just great so raw. Great Job Cruise.
Thanks man!
The beach looks so picturesque wow
Great ride. The humidity is a real killer in Japan in summer. Really saps your energy.
Love you videos, weather in the UK has turned, now cooler and a little wet. Keep up the great work 😎👍
You are very lucky, living the life. Ive always wanted to cycle around japan and only japan, it is the ultimate form of travelling. Hope i can afford it someday.
You wouldn't think there's a pandemic with all those people at the beaches! Looking forward to part 2,Cruise!
Especially the first beach... "the party vibe" one... like absolutely no one wearing masks...all clumped together
二人とも自転車に乗ると少年に戻ったみたいに楽しそうでしたね。日焼けが、ザ・夏休みーって感じでした。日本にもこんなきれいなとこあるんですね。
自転車は自由😁
Excellent video Cruise. I really enjoyed watching it and would have loved to been able to join you guys.
yes!!! this video was perfect. I can’t wait to see part II. you’re really motivating me to come ride in Japan!
Glad to hear that!
Great vid as per usual, Cruise! Good Summer vibes :)
Thanks!
I really missed high speed during your trips :D Looking forward for second part.
Felt nice to go at normal speed 😅
Some gorgeous views on that ride Cruise. Once Spring kicks in here I'll be out more. Hopefully with the right restrictions we're under at the moment eased. I really need some longer rides, restricted to 1 hour of exercise outdoors at the moment.
Fun ride guys. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
like i said yesterday i need more of these POVs, love them, great video brother !
Thanks! More to come ;)
That look really hot.. lol at that tan line.
Some very nice views. I love the ocean.
Looking forward for the next vid!

Both I believe
4:11 damn, his quad muscles !
Great views! Great trip, through seems too hot :) .... many thanks to Hiroki for 'pushing you' to make this trip ;P
Glad we did it 😁

Nice bike ride...😎👍👌👊🚴♂️🚴♂️
12:20 was awesome! I loved that edit.
Gotta bring the drone back
Thanks for the ride and the rides to come. :)

Hey Cruise, just wanted to know if theres going to be a part 2 of this video? because ive been waiting for it to come out
Yes, up on Sunday
@@TwoWheelCruise hahaha glad to know! thanks
Its like i was there myself. Enjoyed the video thx
Glad you enjoyed!

Big American cars are pretty rare here, but you run into them occasionally and they really stand out
Fun adventure. I have done some century rides but only supported races with plenty of rest stops with people refilling water bottles-and food.
Those are really nice. In Japan there are always conbini feed zones
Two Wheel Cruise thats true! Looking forward to part 2. Makes me want to ride today. :). Thanks for the videos

Felt like 2019 for a minute. Pre-covid vibes both with the crowds and the big ride out of town.
It did feel a bit normal at times
This must be the most tiring ride in a while after the Zwift races! Keep up the great spirit :D I enjoyed the sea scenery tho. Looked like it came out of an anime lol
Hi Cruise - great video like always. I’ve always been wondering how your camera is always so still even after going over bumps. Is there some sort of a camera stabiliser you’re using? What’s the secret? Thanks
Thanks! No stabilizer, just the chest mount or selfie stick and lots of practice in how to hold it and film while riding ;)
watching your vlog from Las Vegas
Awesome! Thank you!

I've been wanting to ride down and ferry hop one day 😅
Btw, what's with the Eshima Ohashi Bridge? Any reviews?

Thanks! I haven't been in any big ones yet thankfully
very nice vlog! subbed!
Good video, but you should do a Fuji bike shop tour for your next bike shop tour
Damn the close passes in Japan are really bad. I find it surprising given how bike friendly the country is in general.
What do you think of the Bridgestone TB1E?
It’s so nice seeing everyone out on the beach meanwhile in the US we can’t do anything 🙁
Always stay hydrated y'all 🙋
Especially on a day like this..
@@TwoWheelCruise true! ride safe 👍
Hey Cruise San.

I use the ELEMNT, it's very easy to set the maps in the smartphone app
Two Wheel Cruise I know it should be easy. Dude, It says Chubu region has 166 MB and my element free space is only 88MB. Such a 🤦🏽♂️.
5:13 may i ask how you go from chest mount to those shots right there? do you just unclip the gopro buckle from the chest mount while riding? if so, have you ever dropped it?
I stop and change mounts.
What a great video, shame about the lack of Thuong.

@@TwoWheelCruise Thanks. Maybe you can do some demo on their other products sometime. (shoes, gloves, etc.)
I guess Thoung is not crazy enough to bike on a 36 deg day. That’s hot!😀😀
New subscriber love frm philippines
super !! thank you !
wow, it's your specialized allez! long time no see
Been a while Haha
a headband to cover your brows from sweat will be good! ride safe!
Those cars are crazy close! They need to have wider shoulders on those roads. or at least a shoulder.
Most Japanese roads have no shoulder :(
I'm surprised by the close passes you've been getting recently, I always thouyght the etiquette was better in Japan
THe roads are just too narrow for two way traffic, doesn't leave too much space to maneuver during high volume traffic!
it's the same problem in UK, with narrow road and Uber and Waze created traffic on every B-road!
Nope, cars often pass very closely here
Hiroki, he is nice guy, and good at ride.
You have good friend.
We want to ride with him too.
Great guy :)
I know this tour from before, thanks a lot, wish I could make this bikingtour with you however thanks to Covid-19 it's impossible ! Kind regards from The Netherlands.
Thanks! Hopefully one day!
looks tropical there... only thing missing are palm trees
What did you to make your GoPro last so long ?
batteries
hey guys. can you help me choose between road bike or mtb?
How many kilometers do you take a break to eat, etc ?
I rest after 25-30 kilometers of driving ( I smoke a cigarette and eat an energy bar. Ahaha ! ).
Wonderful video !
Bravo !
I think we took a break ever hour or so just to be safe with the heat
@@TwoWheelCruise After how many kilometers did you take your first break?
20-30-40 or more kilometers ?
That guy overtaking - I'd be shaking my fist at him!
Are you riding on your Tannus tires?
No, this is a different bike
@@TwoWheelCruise Thank you for the answer! :)
Cruise, I never realized but you could really cosplay as Le Petit Prince.
😂
Nice ride lods
nice mid day ride , keep safe TWC,
@12:27 that is so cute reaction , call it #couplegoals😁😁

Nice route. It is not on your Strava though!

jeez those tan lines haha
If someday I were to die under skies like that, I'd not feel bad at all.
@Funkilla I'd be dying so I guess some sweat will not make too much difference XD I'm used to the heat tbh where I live it hits 40°c all the time but humidity is below 10% so it's bearable. I'm not good with humidity at all!
i like how you waited until the hottest day to do a century ride 😂
Been extra cautious since Feb because of the virus, but that went out the window today 😂
16:57 this is not japan...... You often see in big cities in Japan the conserative nature of the ladies, maybe not so much at the beach.
I finally saw your body cam outfit. Could you do a video about it?
I did th-cam.com/video/yYihPPzSJRY/w-d-xo.html
Sand is good for your sprocket and chain.
Whats your favorite drink on a ride like this to stay hydrated?
Aquarius
Aquarius and ice cream
come on! where's the beach's footage???
wait wait..... I know that stall 22:48 TH-camr へんな魚おじさんの寝言【Weird Fish Dude & Beard Brother】 & きまぐれクックKimagure Cook. :)

Pro tip, to avoid getting sweat in the eyes wrap a hankerchief around your forehead. (Like Rambo :D) 17:30 Is Japan a Pepsi or a Coca-cola country?
Probably a good right now. I'm not sure who's winning the market share actually
My longest is 260km with the same temperature and on a MTB 😂
😱
😅
5:57 smells like teens spirit
Pro selfie stick in knees recording
Haha I felt pretty pro while balancing that
And also dont forget sunscreen. You wouldnt want to get roasted like a chicken
