  • I rarely include museum adventure during our travel but this Toyta Museum in Nagoya Japan needs to be seen especially for car lovers out there!
Iconic cars like Toyota AA, Toyota 2000GT, the sexy Celica and more can be seen and this is not your typical museum because it has an interactive experience and you will feel like you got warped in the past to see the genesis, struggles and triumph of Toyota.

When we say Japan. Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto comes to our mind as it forms the golden triangle for tourism. But for years, Nagoya has been living in the shadow of those three powerhouse city. Nagoya is in Aichi Prefecture than is located in the core of Japan.
We are lucky enough to explore the central area of Japan and we found out why does it needs to have a spotlight and be considered for your next Japan travel! Whatever your agenda may be, it does not disappoint. Food? Yes! Shopping? Definitely! Cultural experience? They are ready for you!
We are not a stranger anymore when it comes to shopping in Japan. We always find a way to dedicate a day going to the likes of Tosu Premium Outlets, Mitsui Outlet Park and more! Because we always want to find the best deal possible with our money during your travel. However, it is not always about shopping in our channel. We drive and dive to some places too!
This place is a must-see for any car enthusiast or anyone interested in the history of Japanese industry.
The museum is divided into two main sections: the Textile Machinery Pavilion and the Automobile Pavilion. The Textile Machinery Pavilion showcases the early days of the Toyota Group, when they were primarily a textile manufacturer. The Automobile Pavilion, of course, is home to a vast collection of classic and modern Toyota cars.
Some of the highlights of the museum include:
A collection of rare and vintage cars, including the Toyota AA, the first car produced by the company.
A replica of the original Toyota factory, where visitors can learn about the company's manufacturing process.
An interactive exhibit that allows visitors to design their own Toyota car.
A racing simulator where you can test your driving skills on a variety of tracks.
The Toyota Museum is a great place to learn about the history and culture of Japan. It's also a lot of fun for car enthusiasts of all ages. I highly recommend it!
Here are some additional tips for visiting the Toyota Museum:
The museum is located in the Aichi district of Nagoya, about a 20-minute walk from Nagoya Station.
The museum is open from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday.
The museum offers English-language tours at 2:00 PM and 3:15 PM.
I hope this video gives you a glimpse of the amazing Toyota Museum in Nagoya. If you're ever in Japan, I highly recommend taking the time to visit this fascinating place.

I learned something new today! Actually my first job was for Toyota’s Engine and didn’t bother researching about the company’s history 😂 It’s amazing how they started from a different industry and then becoming a powerhouse in the automotive industry.
