I used to fly my dad’s 172 out of MYV years ago. I’ve landed here myself quite a few times.
Nice little episode, I learned a few things I didn't know about LHM. For people going in the first time, you could mention the 'log pile' 45 to rwy 15, and the nearby TFR. I don't usually stray under that, cool to see Camp Far West from a down low!
Ahhhh! Thanks James! I meant to mention the log pile (and the casino) and then forgot! 😂 I think Air Galore also has rental car available at Lincoln if anyone needs transportation.

I drove in to high sierra 23 myself but just on Saturday. Really cool that you include your kids 👍🏼🇺🇸
I hope to fly the Chief up there next year! But won’t be able to take both kids 😂
A friend had offered to fly me there in his cub but after considering density altitude I elected to drive. At the last minute my wife decided to go too so it worked out. @@trustyaeronaut

I've been wanting to do a trip up towards your area to drop in on Ercoupe James Good and also do an intro flight in the T6 that's based up there in Lincoln (Adventure Flight I think?) Is this a monthly breakfast? 2nd Sunday?
Ah yes, on Satudays tho. I believe they currently do the breakfast on the second Saturday of the month and lunch on the fourth Saturday of the month. But, I’d check the website eaa1541.org before you show up hungry! 😄
