Great to listen to someone with the same Scottish accent which makes following your video tutorials easier. I totally love your beautiful crochet work. Im just a beginner but following your tutorials I'll be crocheting blankets & throws in no time at all. Thank you Alison.
Rose Devane Dear Allison I contacted you a few days ago about your lovely Video on the waffle type stitch. I had trouble getting in on the pattern, but I kept going going over the Video again, & again as I was so keen to get the hang of your beautiful pattern for a baby blanket. Good news I realised what I was doing wrong. I was going into the same stitch, twice, until the penny dropped, that I was missing the stich for the treble. I have restarted the blanket again & happy to say its coming out well, I'm so delighted. It wasn't until I did a little swatch that it dawned on me. I'm in the habit of doing the full blanket, & as you say in your video, its better to do a small swatch first . Great advice from you Allison. Your work is amazing, & you make it so easy I just wanted to fill you in on what has happened, & I'm annoyed with myself for making this error Many thanks again Rose Devane.
Hi Alison. This is so lovely I've made one baby blanket already and have started a scrap blanket/mat using the single waffle stitch for a toddler. With the various colours she will have fun naming the colours

Thanks so much and take care! 🥰🧶
