The app disconnects from tv when idle. After re-opening the app the app will not reconnect to the tv. I need to shut down the app and restart it to reconnect to the tv. Is there a solution to this problem?
Dear customer, please try the following: - Make sure your TV software is up-to-date - Make sure your phone software is up-to-date - Make sure the ThinQ app is up-to-date - Check your phone network/wifi settings. Check if your phone does not switch to 4G when WiFi is unstable. - Check you phone settings. Check if there is no battery saving option is enabled, that applies on idle apps. Dear Nekzuris, when you use the ThinQ app as a remote control (move the pointer on the screen), you can select a text field on the TV and then use the keyboard on your mobile phone to enter a text. For example, in the Web Browser app on the TV, you can select the URL field and then type the URL within the ThinQ app. For more help, please contact your local LG helpdesk via www.lg.com/common

But your phone and tv must connect to the same n/w right?? We can't turn on a hotspot on our phone and use it on our tv
