Thanks for the video! I'm going to shoot my first sunrise time-lapse right now (actually my first anything, as I just got a GoPro) and I'll be using the settings you recommended. Thanks again!
Thank you very much for the tips Alex. I have a question. Isn't it necessary to block the exposure? Some youtubers like MicBergsma recommend it. Or is the exposure block only for the sunsets? Greetings from Spain!
If you lock the exposure on the landscape or the sun for shooting nightlapse, the image will burn out when the sun arises. I've tried it several times shooting sunrise from the hill, looking down at central building district area. As a result, my footage became like a scene from 'terminator' when the city burns out.
Hi Alex, I want to take 24 hrs time lapse videos with my hero8. I put a powerbank and 32gb sd card but it stops after 10 hours. Is there any advice you can give thx
Your vids and information are so good!!! I wish you could have better sound and get rid of the hollow sounding echo when you talk. I really do not mean to be critical. There are many people with very poor sound and I have to skip their vids.
Settings start at 3.39 in. You're welcome

I am blocking the exposure by locking both ISO values to 100.
