Well, I’d recommend to use the GoPro app - great start for beginners. From there you found either go on to premiere pro or final cut if you’re on desktop. On mobile I like to use “videoleap”
Thank you , jaws is my favourite mount too.i m going to connect 2 more gooseneck extension and see the stabilization....as I need to shoot my Rc car when I’m controlling. Stay safe ! Happy thanksgiving day !
Well, by increasing the interval you’d be able to shoot a longer duration. Alternatively if you really need to shoot an extended Timelapse- you can plug the GoPro into an external power source. Hope it helps! & yes- all the time lapse here was shot on a single battery
I have the Hero Black 11, I was testing the 240fps slomo inside my home around different lighting. I have found that I am getting a horrible light flicker in the slomo video, on the screen and when played back elsewhere. If you play it back normal speed there is no flicker, the moment you play it in slomo the flicker is back. Is there a way to fix this? or is this happening due to florescent lighting being around? And if it's the type of lighting, is there a way to stop the flicker around lighting.
hey man! yes the quick fix will be to try and toggle anti-flicker on your GoPro. Switch from 60Hz to 50Hz - depending on the region you are in the lights operate at a different frequency. Open your camera preference, general > anti-flicker > 50Hz alternatively, introduce "more light" to your environment to reduce the flickering. Hope that fixes your issue!
In such a scenario where you intend to shoot the entire sunrise, you might be better off utilizing "Time Lapse Video" as oppose to "Night Lapse Video". Try out the settings + tips that I mentioned in this video!
Thanks Tom! That't true- however, if you're intending to capture low-light situations such as stars etc... ISO 100 might not be 'sensitive' enough to capture it.
@@embodyingocean189 well, I’ve been using GoPro since 2014! So I’m confident of this little guy! Just be sure to check that the “doors” are closed before any water activities
Thank you so much Brett!! & that's a great question. 4:3 is essentially capturing a much "larger" frame that 16:9. & 1 of the main reasons why i shoot in 4:3 for timelapses is that it allows for more room & flexibility to keyframe or crop to your preference - as you see in this video! hope that helps!
Night lapse is not working the go pro hero 10 black my battery is full till drain even 1 second don't have the Sutter is not working too I go to the go pro store and they open 3 new go pro to try it and remain the same the Sutter is not appear is not recording any photo
Thanks for the tips! I know now why you didn't lock the exposure for sunrise timelapse. I've decided to test it out this morning and mine was burned out when I locked the exposure to a building while the sun was coming up from the horizon🤦♂️
hey Kiyoto, thanks for the feedback! yeah it takes awhile to get use to it. but it is super useful to have your exposure locked. esp for sunset, i'd recommend to have your exposure locked to the SUN - that way you'd have a really nice & clean sunset. but like i always say, no right or wrong! depends on what you prefer!
Great Video. I totally agree 99% of tutorials say fix shutter and white balance . How does that make any sense ( unless you are using a Mirrorless or DLSR & are shooting manual pics ) But if you are using a GoPro or smartphone. Sunrise for example starts off Dark and when the sun comes up it just blows out your exposure.. I agree with You Auto shutter & WB... Nice video
This is in Khao kho, Thailand! ~6 hours north of Bangkok! If you come during the right season (~Nov) you'll witness the sea of clouds like I have! Hope it helps!

Once the Sun started to rise, the exposure was out of hand. Everything turned white.

Hey Ron amazing video the quality of the video just superb. I really loved the last slow motion shot you took for Selene 💯
Nicky!! Thanks for swinging by & staying till the end my friend! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Best video ❤
Thank you!!! had a blast creating this video too!
Very informative
Thanks buddy! 😁
Confused on the iso 100-800 always thought that it should stay at 100.. Hit me with your expertise for the novice out here.
It really depends on how “sensitive to light you want your camera. So for taking stars id recommend to bump up the ISO
Thanks for the tips, Ron! I live in exposure control! 😆
TYLER!! Thanks for checking in on Thanksgiving! very much appreciated buddy! & yes! exposure control is amazing!! gotta love it for shooting sunsets!
Hi Ron, big fan here. Question, why not use ISO 100 max? Wouldn't you get less noise?
Thanks Tom! That't true- however, if you're intending to capture low-light situations such as stars etc... ISO 100 might not be 'sensitive' enough to capture it.
Not to mention the changing ISO setting as it gets dark, bumps the exposure up.

1. Night Photo Mode
2. Night Lapse Mode
