6:27 could Isaac be developing an immunity, at least partially to the signal? Not in the sense that the signal doesn’t affect him but in the way that the self deleting tendencies from others who are affected by the signal are ignored? Because in dead space three when the moons wake up why don’t they just use the signal to make Isaac “self delete” instead of slowing him down in his attempt to warn earth?
7:46 you said it yourself in the past video, Isaac would use the usg ishimura to crack open the moons and tear them apart I’m saying the usg ishimura specifically because if it could survive a planet exploding underneath it, I’m pretty sure it could survive a space colony explosion

Roanoke, don't worry about the people flipping out about "viral bacteria". It's actually not hard to understand the concept, that "viral" is a description, an adjective.
Fr, he’s using the word ‘viral’ the same way the word is used to describe a ‘viral video’. I always understood the term ‘viral bacteria’ to mean a bacteria that behaves very similarly to a virus, especially concerning how it spreads and infects.
Awesome as always, I'd love to see Roanoke cover some analog horror and get an actual biologists take on stuff like The Tangi Virus, Smile Tapes, and the Medusa Virus
Smile Tapes? Ya mean, like, Smile Dog, or do I have the wrong idea? Anyways, a analog horror thing I'd like Roanoke ta look at is the Godzilla one; not only is it a complete rewiring of the victim's brain with the possibility of them still being conscious of what's happening around em but are not prisoners of their own body, they're also being physically mutated to better fit the rubber suits more completely.
@@tommyfox854 oh the smile tapes is a series about an ancient fungi, definitely a great analog horror lol. I agree Man in The Suit would be a good choice too, I just rewatched again the other day actually and it'd be really cool to see a breakdown of that
Smile Tapes is by a channel named Patorikku, I think that's the right spelling lol. Also Tangi Virus is by Vintage 8 and Medusa Virus is by Mythical Films in case anyone wants to check them out
Again talking about the importance of social interaction. Man it sucks when being around people makes you feel like you are about to have an asthma/ heart attack though
I hope this anxiety has lessened by now btw. I would try to figure out what exactly it is about social interaction or being around people that triggers such an extreme anxiety response. Maybe you could start small and just try sitting in a cafe, park, or other place that is quiet but is frequented by people.
I am always happy to see more DS lore. With the remake coming out one can hope that the series could get more entries now. That one was great and it is very interesting in my opinion as well as being a pretty good survival horror game
I had a weirdly similar thing over a four day weekend at Uni. What made it all so much worse was that around midnight on the Sunday I crept out of my room, and over to my apartment-dorm’s front door, went outside, found campus still _completely empty_ (I could have solved my people problem by literally hopping in my car and going to a gas station, the town wasn’t deserted but the campus was.) because it was late, and I knew I only had one more day before classes resumed and everyone would be coming back Monday afternoon, I just… completely psyched myself out, was convinced that the rail road that was less than a 200 yards from my apartment was somehow haunted (and that apparently could effect me, somehow) and just… booked it back inside after standing in my doorway listening to the wind and the fact that northern Louisiana doesn’t have the same screeching bugs that my home state does, no matter how cold FL gets. I think that was what drove me to _not_ having something similar happen during lockdowns, and made it appoint to immediately engage with my online friends and make it a point to stay with/within a safe physical distance with others in my little town.
Taking the chance so close to christmas - thank you for all your content, you are incredibly entertaining (like really burning through your stuff like mad) and keep pushing towards that 1M subs my dude! You absolutely deserve those. Love from germany!

Always love learning more about Dead Space, and a Merry Christmas to you, papa Roanoke! Fitting that Sack was the word of the day, hopefully Santa isn't an exploder...
11:16 this exploder will actually sometimes hide behind the wall between the windows if you notice it. I’ve had it walk off like in the video in a couple runs but I’ve also had it stop, look at me, then move just behind the pillar and hide until I run up to the window, then it walks off.
If i remember rightly, isnt the seretonin system of the body more related to gut health than brain chemistry, which is why gut health is important to mental health.
Hope the tides turn in your favour soon Roanoke, thank you for another fantastic video. I hope your Christmas brings a little bit of cheer your way, if not the excuse to drink & eat to your hearts content.
Have a question for you; I forget where it was said, but a developer of Dead Space when asked if Humanity could actually defeat the Brethren moons if the 4th game had actually been made replied “yes, but they’d have been the lesser of two evils” or something along those lines. What do you think he meant?
Wonder if you could do a multi part series on some of the xenos races from 40k, Orks and Tyranids both have really interesting stuff to cover and the Kroot are also pretty cool.
I just realized! Why would the marker send exploder necromorphs after isaac in the room with the nuke? If the nuke gets detonated, most or all of the biomass on the Ishimura will be vaporized, as well as the marker itself. I think maybe the marker wasn't very smart
I'd love to see a video covering just the Marker (and optionally the Brethren Moons), covering its exact effects. There have been videos talking about the "Marker's effects" as if this is something well understood, but it seems pretty nebulous to me. I'd love some clarification.

I wonder what form is next. Spitters? The Pregnants (though I prefer to call them Carriers and it's probably less likely to get flagged by YT's automated systems)? Wheezers? Swarmers? Good luck with the Lurkers dodging the use of baby, child, etc. lol
I would honestly love to see you do a video on the monsters in Korean show sweet home and the novel. It’s an interesting series and season 2 goes more into the whole cause and effects of the transformation
