    Need a list based upon economy! 125 should mean cheap motoring! Over £3000 is simply too much.

      Yep - totally shocking state of price inflation we've had in the last few years and now sub £3000 seems to be history.

      I too walked uphill both ways. If you want to live keep your throttle open, or clutch to hold on and pretend you've got a grip... Or brake and quit living.

    An excellent presentation, new riders are extremely fortunate to have such a range of superb motorcycles to choose from although I think some of the seat heights may be a bit high for new riders. In my day it was either a bantam, tiger cub or C15 !

      @@JulianDaniel2003 lmao, you sound like the Subaru haters who say they are unreliable even though the issues were rectified years ago.
      Have been riding for over 4 decades and owned everything from a Honda minitrail 50(1st bike/dating myself,) KX & CR500s, to liter bikes, a Busa, and a 2017 H2.
      Many track days running bikes at boil over that 40yrs+ as well.
      The issue with the smaller displacement Duke's is a 1st gen problem.
      The 2nd Gen Dukes are pretty solid as long as you break them in properly and service them as scheduled.
      ....but at the same time regardless if it is a current Japanese bike, Euro model, so on and so forth when things go wrong it is ALWAYS the bike and never the rider.
      I've seen issues with all brands and models over decades of riding.
      I have a 390 as a fun little back road bike. I run it and have never had an issue with it. It's much different than in my avatar photo as I run a LeoVince LV Pro with the dB killer pulled, Competition Werkes pre silencer bypass, and a whole slew of other stuff done to it.
      Bought it new and ran it in myself.

    If you want a low power bike just get a Yamaha mt-15 if you want 125cc just get a scooter , either start on a 200cc or 300cc 125cc bikes make no sense just get a 155cc

      You can’t in the Uk

    • @BulldogMack700rs
      @BulldogMack700rs 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      UK licencing laws prevent this, plus no one sells a 155 here. Back in the day you could ride a 250 on a learner's permit, unfortunately those days are gone. However I agree it makes very little sense to start on a 125 to then in most cases make the jump straight to a 600.

    • @xtrmbeast
      @xtrmbeast 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      why?
      It's like you'd like to get a bike (true bike.. bicycle not motorcycle) and I'd tell you buy downhill bike, if you want simple bike buy roller-skates..

    • @agmfett
      @agmfett 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Spain you can ride a 125cc if you've had a car driver license for at least 3 years, but if you want anything bigger you'll have to take the tests for an "intermediate" bike permit and after 2 more years and a specialized course you can apply for the final permit

      I was indecisive until I seen both bikes up close....The KTM for me wins by far, as its the perfect bike height for me, (haven't actually bought one yet, but will real soon) compared to the MT-125....looks smaller and more compact. Depending on your height, go for the one that fits you best.
