      Udo, theses OSRAM LED bulbs are much brighter and better for DRL application on the Leaf. Haven't had the same experience with the chinese LED I used for the DRL fog on the XK8. Got a better bulb for that now. Hopefully will give some feedback shortly. Drive safe in the winter fog. Thanks for the comment regards Damian

      @@ODRModurol Must have missed your comment...sorry for the delay...re Battery performance and climate, not the best conditions especially during the summer months June -Sept, but due to the very short distances here very little DC quick charging is done and most charging is done at home on L1. Mine had the BMS update done at the Nissan Dealership and thankfully still on 12 bars.

    Thanks, how about the bulb behind the steering wheel that illuminated the steering wheel buttons?

    • @ODRModurol
      @ODRModurol  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Reg, sorry haven’t any knowledge for those bulbs on a leaf. Normally with other cars you need to remove the airbag and steering wheel to access the switches. Sorry can’t be more helpful, regards Damian

    Great - can h send a link to the bulbs - the osram ones now are 5w which is pretty bright. Fine with that but don’t want to buy them if “too bright” as such….? Thanks

    • @ODRModurol
      @ODRModurol  ปีที่แล้ว

      Simon, The LED bulbs I used are not too bright (1.6W) and actually useless as anything other than DRL's. Please find link below, hope that helps, regards Damian.

    I love your videos! I just recently got a 2012 Nissan Leaf with 30k miles, truly a dream car. Have been upgrading the cars lighting and according to the manual, the SL Trim (which I have), fog lamps call for an H11 bulb, so I assume the Euro model cars have two bulbs as you describe. Let me know, thanks!

    • @e-rollcorporation152
      @e-rollcorporation152 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can confirm that there is only one bulb in each fog lamp on my 2012 Nissan Leaf.

    • @ODRModurol
      @ODRModurol  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @e-rollcorporation152, sorry didn't see you post until you already answered your own question. I believe there was a slight facelift for 2013 hence the slightly different fog lamps with additional DRL bulbs. The leaf is really interesting and reliable mod of transport. Nissan winning just by keeping it simple. Unfortunately, not something most new electric cars offer now. Too complex and too expensive, regards Damian

    The page you showed on bulb size has much more detail than the page I was able to find in the 2015 Leaf owners manual than I have....Can you post a pdf of that manual...

      David, got a bit of a database of Leaf documents on our website www.modurol.co.uk . You can find various docs including the 2013 owners manual and the workshop manual pdfs. Hope that helps, regards Damian.

    You have great videos brother but I cant for the life of me unscrew the drls. The fog lights screw out perfectly but the dlr is stuck and will only rotate a little bit. 😫

      @ODRModurol  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Peer, I had a similar problem and it was very tight the first time, plus the aluminium housing might oxidises and expand to grip the light fitting. Need to get a good grip and turn anti clockwise. Might need pliers to assist and be brave. Hope you get them out, regards Damian

      Perfect advise! On drivers side I also found it easier to dis-connect the cable first before pushing in and rotating to remove the bulb holder.
