Just snagged a 2011 for $2k and I have a replacement pack inbound. Can't wait to get these bulbs changed! Would love to see the high beams and fog lights done in a video! Thank you for the content, it is super helpful!
Perfectly edited and explained... thank you very much for your time and effort... keep it up... looking forward for the fogs and high beams change....subscribed...
Ha!! Well that's actually not a main benefit, because the energy used by LEDs and regular bulbs is inconsequential compared the energy used by the motors. But that's perhaps a bit of fun that we might research in a future video. (If I ever get the time to make it)
I also have a Leaf Tekna (March 2019) but I'm disappointed with its reversing lamps on account of them being very dim. Yes there's a rear facing camera but I expect enough light to see what's behind me when looking over my shoulder or via the wing mirrors. Have you any solution?
Johnny Wilkinson There’s no real solution to that except to throw more light on the area. You could upgrade the reversing lamp bulbs to a higher wattage but that’s unlikely to make a huge improvement because the lamp lenses are angled as they are. Plus, it casts doubt whether you’d then have problems at MOT time, because they wouldn’t necessarily conform to the regulations. Maybe an LED bulb would be better, because at least you could take advantage of the difference in colour temperature? No good solution really... sorry.

wonderful effort, better produced than most of the tv channels you get these days.
You make fantastic videos, sad that you've only got the two :(

Thank you!
Excellent.. keep it up. Thanks
Very well explained thanks,
Excellent videos. Thank you.
Hi can you tell me where the fuse is as I did short circuit it
I have heard that changing filament bulbs to LEDs is an MOT Fail.
Does anyone know about this?
Brilliant thank you excellent video
Any issues with error messages post installation? CANbus issues?
Cheers
No, no issues. They have the appropriate resistors built in, so they are "seen" as standard bulbs by the car's on-board systems.
You forgot to mention the main benefit -- energy usage. Led takes ~1w compared to normal taking 5w

I think my fuse has gone when I done this
